I've loved Chef Nyesha since she was on Top Chef. She is just so intelligent, humble, and respectful regardless if she's working in a Michelin starred French restaurant or a hole in the wall take out spot like this one. She's great at everything she does and is a gorgeous person, inside and out.

Chef Nyesha is a fantastic interviewer. I really liked this episode. She’s so intelligent and respectful. She also gets into the heart of the place, making it easy for the viewers to understand what’s important to the business owners/chef.

I finally had the chance to try this place out a month ago, and been visiting twice a week ever since. The reviews are not hype, they're real. Food is phenomenal and Armen and his folks are welcoming people. Do yourself a favor and not deprive yourself from trying this place out, the food is that good.

Mini kabob is a family owned establishment and they are so nice and so deserving of all the attention! Been going to them for YEARS! Order ahead of time if you can. They make things to order so it can take more time than you’ll realize. Also it’s TINY so be prepared to hang out for a bit.

by far the hardest part of fasting is the boredom. If you've never done a multiday fast, you have no idea the enormous amount of your daily time is spent thinking about, preparing, or eating food. Depending on your lifestyle, it can be really hard to fill all that extra free time. If you want a fast to be easy, start it when you are very busy

Agreed. Which is why I been going to this spot for ten+ years. They make what’s GOOD. Chicken thigh instead of breast. They also have a pork kabob that wasn’t mentioned here, which you can’t find at any of the other middle eastern joints in Glendale, which has a LOT of good options. But honestly Mini is the one I always go back to and the one I always rec. It is an absolute gem of a family restaurant. And what’s crazy is how tiny it is; one four top and two two tops.

Using a shopping bag to tenderize the meat and lack of gloves by the father is enough to turn many people away. The real name for Lule Kabob which literally means pipe in Persian is Koobideh and it's usually a 50/50 mix of beef and lamb but unfortunately Armenians mix pork with beef which makes it rubbery and not edible after 10 minutes.

Food looks amazing. Can't beat family restaurant cooking. For best practices never use a garbage, or non-food grade bag, let alone one that has been used and on top of that hammering the bag with beef inside. This is a violation under the food safety act. Best wishes otherwise.
