In japan we eat wakame(わかめ), rockweed(岩のり) and nori(のり、海苔). Also we eat sea lettuce (aosa, アオサ),green laver(aonori, 青のり), mozuku(もずく) and sea grapes(umibudou, 海ぶどう). There are very delicious so I hope you get a chance to try it. In parentheses, you’ll find instructions on how to read and write in japanese.

I roast potatoes and when they've softened in the middle I fry them in a pan with some dulse seaweed. I will season them depending on my mood but one combination of flavour is sweet paprika, nutritional extract OR miso and a bit of tahini. Then when they're coated and fried enough, you can sprinkle some sesame seeds and chilli flakes on top to serve. I like to have these with a side of my homemade spicy butter beans.
