Good video. Agreed 100%. You sign deals with USA, you get us military bases and infrastructure to support it. You get little economy from US soldiers. You may get some old weapons at expensive prices. And you get 1000 different conditions that erode your sovereignty. Like they tell you you must do this or that. You sign a deal with China, you get crucial infrastructure that you need, you get crucial technologies etc that are vital to the future of your country and continent. Like roads, rail, ports, power plants, communication networks etc. you get investment from Chinese companies who actually come to Africa and settle down there for the long run, hiring Africans. You get cheap Chinese goods, like smartphones and electric cars that you can afford and will change Africa and the whole society in the coming years. Just see where China is today and where it came from. When modern China/PRC was founded in 1949, it was poorer and more technologically backwards than many African countries. Today china is a peer of usa in everything from economy to technology to militarily, and even leading in many crucial technologies. That's not even going into the history of colonialism and oppression, which china was also an victim of to the west. Google hong Kong, opium wars, unequal treaties and century of humiliation if you are unfamiliar with the last 200-300 years of Chinese history. This is why China has always had a special affinity with Africa and always supported Africas anti colonial efforts. Africa has also supported China from the start, like at the UN and helped vote ROC/Taiwan out. And China has voted and helped Africa back in return. That partnership continues till today. China knows where it came from, and both recognized and helped each other when they both had nothing. This is why China does not have superiority complex and think they rule the world and can lecture others. The west is not even worth talking about. They only care about Africa to stop China. If China wasn't there they would never care about Africa. Even today they are all talk. If they want to invest and help Africa, China welcomes it. But talk is cheap. Where is the money and where is the results? West can't even fund and develop their own infrastructure in their own countries. Uk, Germany, Japan etc are all in recession. USA road are bad, so is their rails. They don't have any high speed rail at all. If you want war and coups and interference and lectures, call USA and west. If you want to rise up and improve your country and help your peoples, call china. No need to waste each other's time. China doesn't care if you want to be a western puppet like Japan, SK, Philippines etc. China is cool with it as long as you still want to do win win business(or rather, if your master USA still allows it and hasn't done a chip ban or hasn't blown up your critical energy supply/pipelines), China will still do it. China believes in "win-win" strategy and has a non zero sum mentality. USA is the opposite and believes in "win-lose". So if USA believes that it is the exceptional country, and believes in win-lose, then obviously everyone else is the loser and USA is the winner. Who wants to be the loser to usas winner? Even vassals or subordinate occupied tributary protectionist vassal states like Japan and SK don't like it but unfortunately for them they are too weak still. That's why China has been so successful. They do inclusive trade and do business with everyone. No judgmental lectures/ultimatums/laws on morality or governance or religion or philosophy, no interference. Just win win trade and cooperation. China is not your father and you are not a ignorant naive kid and should not be treated as such which is how usa and West gave always treated African countries and people.. Usa is so tone deaf that it doesn't realize that when it says that the belt and road initiative is a "debt trap", it is actually saying that all those 135+ countries who have signed up and who continue to support the BRI are dumb naive kids who cannot read or understand a contract and cannot be trusted to run their own countries and only USA and West can see China's secret master plan to debt trap and control them economically and steal all their resources when they can't pay their debts off! Just today USA passed a law stating that Chinese company bytedance, who owns tiktok, must sell their shares and "divest ownership of tiktok" otherwise it will automatically be banned from USA after a certain cutoff date. Pure attempted extortion and like some hostile takeover of one of the biggest, most popular and famous social media sites/apps in the whole world. Actually, let's just call it what it really is. It's an armed robbery, with gun against the owners head and forcing him to sign the contract for ownership transfer. If they don't succeed with that, they wil still just attempt to destroy it so no one else can enjoy or benefit from it in USA. I can guess now that usa won't be content with just the ban. It will want to destroy tiktok just like they tried with Huawei. This is how usa does things. That is fair trade and USAs rules based order. Same like every other Chinese tech company that is one day successful enough to show up on China haters radars as the next target to be cancelled or destroyed in the neverending "China threat narrative" tropes. China on the other hand doesn't care what gov or system you have or what god you claim to worship, or what pronoun you want to be called. Before you mention China banned Facebook or Google, no. They banned themselves by refusing to follow Chinese law like every other company that operates in China. Like working with authorities and helping them identify and catch criminals or terrorists using their networks or products etc. if China was as hostile as USA, China wouldn't allow Apple phones to be sold or used in China, because jr could be spy ware and also controlled and backdoored CIA and USA gov. Same with Tesla cars. Can you imagine USA allowing Huawei phones to be sold and used in USA? Or electric Chinese cars in USA? No. They will be banned instantly and never even allowed to have an equal chance to begin with. We are what happened to tiktok even after the company followed every US law and met all congresses "suggestions" that aren't even required legally yet tiktok still did it. I'm surprised they havent completely banned DJI yet or did the same thing to DJI that they are doing to tiktok. I guess DJI doesn't manufacturer or have any assets inside USA itself so maybe that's why USA can't do much against them. China is an old civilization, 5000 years continuous history and on top for the most part. They've seen it all and survived and still prospering today. They know how to play the game, and all these little attacks is just delaying the inevitable. China cannot be contained, and you are just making China stronger and more resilient and self sufficient in everything you tried to ban China from. Chuba already has 7nm chips, has their own space station, has their own GPS called Beidou, etc. If you want to learn how to be strong and develop and be advanced civilization, just watch and learn from China.

Famous Admiral Zheng stopped by these ports also. Yet, no war or subjugation like the Western power. Just good ole trading is all and lived in contentment and peace. This says a lot.

They should have another Belin conference to discuss the following agendas: 1-The damages they've done to Black Africans. 2 -The best way to apologize for their behaviors. 3 - Sit down with France and demand the immediate and unequivocal end of Franc Afric shenanigan. 4 - They should admit that they have been at war with Black - Africa for centuries and that there need to be a seize fire and a subsequent Peace agreement. 5 - They should release all the money that is deposited in their banks by the dictators they supported and still supports. 6 - They should discuss the best ways to compensate Black Africa for the various genocide and inhumane explorations. 7 - They should order their companies that operates in Africa to renegotiate the bogus loop-sided contracts they signed(With their installed dictators)through briberies, corruptions and intimidations.

100's of year with USA and Western countries relationship have benefited their countries, to the detriment of the African Countries. USA and the West need the natural resources that African Countries have, to make their trillions of dollars of profit, but not to the African Countries they have exploited, leaving their Citizens living in poverty. China comes along 10 years ago, and builds the African Countries trading infrastructures (AI Smart Robotic Ports, Railway networks, Freeways, Shopping precincts, etc) to increase the speed of their exported Natural resources, and to increase the Civic Commodities produced by their Natural resources, by China, to import back into their Countries at cheap, good quality commodities that the citizens of the African Country needed for all their Citizens to live a basic Middle Class Life style. It is a beautiful, symbiotic relationship ... not the parasitic relationship offered by USA and the West.

USA and the West have had a parasitic relationship with the African Countries, where they sucked their natural resources to grow and prosper, with the African Countries get deeper and deeper into poverty. USA and the West win, African Countries lose. China offer a symbiotic relationship with the African Countries, where both countries prosper and grow with their citizens. African Countries export their Natural Resources to China; African Countries import good quality cheap commodities needed for all their citizens to live, at least, a basic Middle Class life style, like the rest of the world. When China brings debts to a country, there is usually a project or several projects coming along with the debt, railways, ports, buildings, etc. With them existing, locals may have opportunities to export, to do business. When the west brings debt to a country, there is usually a plan to reform local economy or politics, and the money usually goes to the upper class only. Average locals usually don't get benefited from such debts. Later western companies will collect more from that country because of reformed economic environment which is totally in favor of western companies.

As a Chinese person, if someone asks me about my impression of Africa or asks me to name an outstanding African figure, my first reaction would be Burkina Faso and Thomas Sankara. To me, he represents the unyielding spirit of the African people and their dedication to improving society. Of course, there must be many more people like him among the African people. I believe that the Africa of the future will be a force that cannot be ignored in changing the future world. Africa cannot move away from the west fast enough. The collective west has been on the continent for a couple of centuries now, and all its policies have managed to achieve is to create a small super wealthy political elite whose wealth is based on pushing policies which benefit the western pay masters and which keep the vast majority of people on the continent in poverty. These ruling elites have been enabled to stay in power for decades through coups and rampant brutality happily funded by the west. China on the other hand is willing to trade its knowledge base, its finance, and its technology in exchange for Africa's resources. I have to add that the war in Ukraine and the atrocities being committed by Israel against the Palestinians that the west has been happy to co-sign have done more to expose the hypocrisy and inhumanity of the west than anything else in recent history. It is not even a contest which of China or the West is better for Africa in the long run.

What real infrastracture developmemt have the West built? Most of the West help has been World Bank , IMF loans, US aid, with no strong infrastracture development. The West has put Africa in chocking endless poverty and debts throuhj these loans. China has been in Africa to help gain independent freedom before, together with Russia, but has come back again to help Africa in its development. When you look at these countries of the west they are the same countries that were involved in slavery, in conialism. These are capitalist countries which had the first capital, slaves. Every économics are based on free or cheap matériels. Instead of taking africains from africa, they changed slavery to colonialisme. Now the africains are no longer taken away but remain in the continent work for them. And these countries can also have free naturals ressources. The elite of the 5th french republic think that africa is a french property and they can get free natural ressources so that france can fonction. Now that these countries are searching for protection from Russia and can also equip their armies. Which the west didn't want. The west want weak africains armies , which can not stand against terroristes groups. These terroristes groups are the new way of sending armies to destabilize countries with minerals. Alcaida Daesh etc. All these groups are created by the wes and are managed by allies in the Middle East ( Qatar saoudi arabia, etc). That's why Europeans are in trouble because Russia of President Poutine is back in africa. And he is a very trustworthy allie. Compare to french or the US who have been in the sahel for more than 10 years, with their drones etc but could not see the groups that were killing people in Níger, Burkina and Mali. A well narrated and very diplomatic video. (I personally will not mince words to describe Africa’s one way parasitism with most western relationships and partnership with China for mutual benefit and prosperity). Good on you. Irrespective of propaganda, the African people can clearly see and feel the difference from dealings, experiences, results and history between both relationships. The ways of the West has always been that of dominance and exploitation and if unsuccessful by “white paper agreements” then outright military action ensues all shrouded in the guise of “partnership” and “redemption”. It is pretty obvious and they have themselves to blame for these seismic but necessary shifts. Africa is still open to do business with the West but on different terms now. The mentality of oppression and affinity with violence is evident in for example their gun laws and ownerships/rates of killings within the US and so on. China on the other hand have done more business in trade and infrastructural development projects without the need for a single military base! They never use the term “Threat” which is ingrained in Western vocabulary. There’s also the shared history with Africa of colonisation. Make no mistake, the African people have been aware of these exploitations but had no other alternative until recently. No amount of interference (military or otherwise) or propaganda will disrupt these partnerships. The best thing the West can do now for their longer term sustainability is to alter their model structurally and work as equal partners with others when it comes to trade and commerce but of course that is not the American way and we can only wait to see! It is also pointless trying to convince people otherwise about these narratives especially convincing Africans. Firstly, In a sense you’re insulting their intelligence, secondly you’re making light of their experiences and history. Attacking China and Russia’s integrity for partnering and wanting to aid Africa’s development is also a really poor tactic, it only expose further the ploys of the West among other attributes. Ultimately Africa, like every part of the world need to be self sufficient and sustaining but before they get there, they need partners and even then you still need country to country, continent to continent partnerships and collaborations.
