Nobody needs the third rate prize called nobel prize. These are all western propaganda tools to make the non-western world do their bidding. You do our bidding and we will give you this or that prize. Oscars also belong to that category. Non-western countries must reject everything pretentious and befooling coming out of the western world and nobel prize should be thrown into dustbin. Also the reason why western countries win so many medals in the Olympics is because most of the sports are those at which these countries were already good at. Also many of the sports are those in which only wealthy country can afford to spend resources and create infrastructure. That also must be checked to expose western deceivery.

I wish america would do this too. We have a lot of desert, we could make into productive land too. It is a worth while endever. I am glad to see some people doing this. If Humans would reclaim the great deserts we would not have no food problems. Using the twigs from logging to reclaim desert is great use of reasorces. Good idea.

If you had a GIANT river bringing multi tons of nutrient rich sludge from all over the world right along your doorstep, you could grow anything you wanted too. You didn't notice that GIANT river.. Silt from rivers is RICH in matter to make plants grow that is one of the reasons major countries and towns were built near rivers other than transportation and water.

Well the desert has a claim to be there and so does all the life living there even if we can’t always appreciate it, the real trick would be to plant in the right of ways of streets it’s a lot of untapped normally irrigated and SPRAYED!!! Let’s grow our mulberries and strawberries or even flowers for the bees anything but short rooted grass the bees need us

What an excellent report from an equally excellent bi-lingual host Tianran He. What surprised me most is the winery. Calling itself Chateau Yuanshi, sounding so French, is both humble and smart. There is no shame learning from the French winery grand masters; there is great challenge and joy in producing your own prize winner. China of the 21st century is powered by this generation of Chinese. Educated, free thinking, innovative, but also extremely hard working and humble being the core attributes of the epic Chinese civilization. It is so refreshing NOT to listen to all those western (mostly American) produced videos on China - filled with demonization, insults, jealousy, warning the world that China is a danger. The epic danger to the world in fact is the Anglo American empire declining, going down due to its own recklessness and wars.

@@vongzkee73ers60 Study the history of these area and you will realize it is not called the South China Seas for no reason. The West Philippine Sea was coined only in 2011 by the Philippine government. China and Taiwan for that matter disputes the arbitrary decision because UNCLOS does not respect China's historical claim with the 9 dashed line.

I have to say that this is a wonderful documentary by any standards. The background music is beautiful, calming. The landscaping is so breathtaking that I wish I were a bird flying through it. The museum theme promotes a deep thinking of the relationship between human being and nature. The irrigation system, the culture of locals and even the introduction to the weather station really broaden my vision. Thank you. I enjoyed watching it.
