I know Vicky she is a friend of my dad's she works at 96.7 radio station in Levenshulme Manchester as a DJ and I have been to the radio station a few times where she works she is a lovely lady I hope that her house is a lot cleaner, better and healthier

At the time when this aired I was just cleaning with chemical stuff and watching it for inspiration. But the last few years I have been moving towards the much more environmentally and physically friendly methods of cleaning, such as the use of bicarb and vinegar, and these are gold!

I went downhill since my mum passed away in 2015 and let the house get dirty with rubbish bags.Had to get my sisters to clean the house for me as was depressed & tired to do it myself.My house is fairly clean now and no rubbish bags in house.Its hard to clean the house myself but getting there.😀👍

+Jackyblue67 Same Yes, isn't it interesting that they go into each house GLOVELESS and touch EVERYTHING and get dust, grime, and whatever is there all over their fingers and hands....then later come back with the fancy gloves. Now, who can really clean grime without ruining those gloves...they are either not really cleaning or else ruining several pairs of gloves each day. I think it's because this is 'entertainment' and they are getting viewers by adding the: "THIS IS SO GROSS!" factor to their advertising, so they can up the viewer count that they go so far.

BREAD BINS.🐀 I swear the older mice educate the young ones about where the best food is. I.e. A bread bin. In the middle of the night 5 baby mice ( wearing balaclava's ) surround the bread bin. On one, two, three! Two of them lift up the opening while the other three grab as much bread as they can and then leg it! The other two slowly close the lid and RUN ASWELL! They all then have a massive meal and fall asleep, warm in each others arms. 🐀

Aggie said mice and rats as well don't have bladders, in actual fact really, they do have a bladder and do indeed urinate constantly, it's a old myth or something they don't have bladders, if they hadn't had bladders they won't be able to pee at all, so anyway, yeah, they do have bladders, just to correct that.

It's hard for us Americans too. They say words we don't use usually use. "fag", for example, is a cigarette. "loo" is the bathroom. The also say "Hoover" for a vacuum cleaner, even if Hoover isn't the brand of vacuum they are referring to. Also, even though they are saying the same words their accent is different than ours, so sometimes if their accent is thick, or if they are mumbling, then I have trouble understanding what they are saying.

Grief, after her mom passed. The disregard for cleaning is a symptom of grief, after a major lifestyle change. Especially for caregivers who have taken care of others at the expense of themselves. They are depleted, and have difficulty making the shift to taking care of themselves. Low self-esteem, regrets about the past, etc.

And it sounds like her mom took care of her (I've had to stand on my own two feet for the last X years), most likely due to her disability. As far as how it gets that bad - it's gradual. I have relatives (through marriage) that have a house that reminds me of these except they try to sort of clean it a little every couple months - it would still qualify for the show because of the damage the animals and lack of care have done but it does get sterilized somewhat when it gets "cleaned".
