Kaepernick is a fraud, that was appropriating a cause for his own gain. Kaepernick was REALLY sitting because he had no control of his career any longer before the sitting and kneeling: 2015 Shoulder injury, $61m guarantee denied, only got $39m due to season ending injury, contract restructured plan failed in 2015, no team picked him up, QB Challenge against Blaine failed in Training Camp 2016. Then, Colin knelt for the military because Nate Boyer told him to kneel, while Nate stands next to Kaepernick kneeling. Kaepernick was really upset with the NFL, not against police brutality. My question is, if Colin Kaepernick didn't have that shoulder injury in 2015 and he was still in his prime as a star quarterback, would Kaepernick have been this "activist" against police brutality?

When those players kneeled, it wasn’t out of disrespect, I know that with all my heart. It was about preventing George Floyd and Jacob Blake. Black people have been beaten in the street in the U.S. by our own police force. It’s wrong and has to stop. So please don’t feel like we disrespect the flag, we are only trying to send a message. Here is a fun fact,the military wasn't even recognized in anything having to do with football until 1968. In regards to disrespecting those who are Vets,ironically who you think gets killed by the police? Most Vets suffer from PTSD,are homeless, denied benefits in which they should be entitled to,police don't have the proper training dealing with mental illness, so if a person who served this country suffers from whatever illness, they end up getting killed through police interaction,so Kaepernick kneeled for them as well,but some don't look at the whole picture, just what fits their b.s narrative.

@apinychuang16244 жыл бұрын
Charles Pope Abortion isn’t just a black issue, it’s an issue that pertains to women and their freedom of choice, a choice which is being stripped from them due to men with a toxic level of arrogance oppressing women through policies and bills. It’s ironic how you’re speaking on your belief that Black people don’t care about other black people when this movement was re-sparked DUE to the mistreatment of other black people, it’s almost as if they are able to empathize with people who look themselves because they have the same fear of being brutalize by the authorities, I wonder why... To address your overused cliche argument of “black on black” crime, those people tend to get caught, charged and convicted. There’s nothing to fight for there, the law does it’s job in that aspect, the problem occurs when officers are unable to extend the same level of professionalism when the criminal is one of their own. No one should be above the law and no one should be protected for committing atrocious acts against another human being, especially murder. A quick fun fact: 40% of murdered across the States go unsolved. Thirdly, I’m not sure where you got your information from, no one took the gun away from that man and his wife that lived in the gated community in St. Louis. Matter of fact, the police got a warrant to search his house and confiscated the gun themselves. The Chief prosecutor put out a statement saying 'intimidation or threat of deadly force will not be tolerated' You’re severely misinformed, where exactly are you getting your information from because it seems as though those sources have their own agenda....

This man, is now in the same lineage with civil rights greats, in simple terms yall can now call him The Great Collin KAEPERNICK
@imaniperry19744 жыл бұрын
Colon Fraudpernick sounds better. As it's evident police brutality is DEFINITELY real against Americans and proportionally affecting the Black community. Kaepernick was appropriating a cause for his own gain.

Glory B, I love your comment. And I’m glad you have black grandchildren. However, you do realize he never meant to offend the flag or the anthem, right? He never mean to because it was a simple and quiet way to stand out from the crowd. The irony is, the highest moral standards go towards his cause to protest and say what he wants peacefully when he wants same as you or anyone else, and our military personnel fought and died for every American to have that freedom and right-the freedom of speech and protest in peace. You miss the mark in thinking he was offending the country when he just wanted the change that millions of cities are going through only through months of anger and uncontrolled rage. Because when you simply kneel they think you’re a traitor and they kick you out of the meeting, and when things finally get heated, they listen. It’s sad that it has to even get to violence for the country to change. I don’t like it either. I don’t support it. But we do have to be unbiased and see things for what they are and NOT what we want to see them as. He was never offending you or your family or the country or the flag; and that’s a fact.
