Exactly what I said some days ago; the longer the Celtics first series went with the Sixers resting after sweeping their first round, the better the odds of the Sixers coming in and winning the first game of this series because they are just better rested. Sixers had eight days off between games, Celtics had three days off. Celtics may still win the series, but they sure made their odds worse.

Too many "coach apprentices" in the last few years. First Brad Stevens (who's a WAY better GM than he was ever a coach). Then Udoka. Then Mazzulla. The Celtics offense is horrible at the most crucial times whenever Tatum and Brown have the ball. Everyone else stands around and waits for them to do whatever they are going to do. They don't play off each other but rather take turns with the ball. I score some then you score some mentality. They have to hope the shot goes in or they get the offensive rebound. It's boring and dull to watch, no energy, no chemistry with their teammates. Yet when they play focused and move the ball around they are virtually unstoppable.

It’s a shot clock violation because the offensive team still has possession of the ball while passing and when the shot clock hits zero it’s a violation and side out of bounds for the defense. But if the defense gains possession simultaneous to the shot clock hitting zero the defense has possession of the ball and the shot clock resets to 24 seconds.

Hey, here's a thought, maybe the Celtics aren't that good? They were played nearly evenly by a 41 and 41 Hawks team that was ready to deal Trae Young for ineffectiveness. They resurrected Young;'s career. Now the Celtics brought back prime James Harden. Maxey is a star who doesn't get enough touches as third fiddle. Boston will come out and play with force on game 2. They underestimate the 76ers today. Celtics are suppose to be a top 3 defensive team, but they showed no hustle and effort. Especially guarding James Harden. If he was this hot, why wouldn't they double team him and make the other players makes shots. It took a career high of 45 points from Harden to win this game in the final seconds. I believe the Celtics come out firing Game 2 and even the series.
