Marcus Mariota doesn’t run through his check-downs as quickly as Jayden does. That is a deficit.

I don’t think Mariota will do as well as Jayden, but I do believe he will hold his own and do well enough to put points on the board. Keep in mind, it’s not only up to a QB to win a game. Our defense needs to play well, contain Caleb and not give up deep plays. I liked how Mariota played last week, albeit against the Panthers. Let’s not put the entire game on his shoulders, or Jayden’s for that matter. There are three phases of the game and each need to contribute equally. #HTTR
