Kung baga over price po. Arch Ed. Gusto ko itanong if 10% is Ok ba na percentage or ano ba talaga kalakaran? Hi Architect Ed, I just want to know what is the best sealant for tiles that has no grout? The guy put tiles in our porch on the second floor and I found out he did not put grout so that the ceiling on the first floor of the house is already moldy due to the leakage from the tiles that has no grout.Somebody recommended us Build Rite…. Block out TW as a liquid sealant and my porch is 112 sq.m in which I need 11 gallons at 5,600 per gallon. I don’t mind spending but is this the right sealant? Thanks, please reply.

Although you can use sealant as alternative to grout, it is still not a waterproofing. If you did not apply any waterproofing prior to tiling the porch, it will not solve the problem.

Hi Architect Ed. I engaged the services of a contractor under cost plus arrangement. I noticed that the workers she supplied to my project are not doing much progress. She does not supervise the work flow properly. Masyado mabagal. Mukhang sinasadya kasi the higher the labor cost, the bigger percentage she gets. Also, when she submits her payroll, ang daming names of workers nakalagay eh konti lang naman nakikita kong trabahador sa site. That's labor paddlng. Hindi sya makadaya sa materials kasi may resinous although there are times sinasabi nya na misplaced nya resinous. What can you advise on this concern of mine. I'm so stressed kasi I have a limited budget which I told her at nakalagay naman sa contract. Ang hirap humanap ng contractor na trustworthy.

A detailed contract. Pwede maglagay ng guaranteed maximum cost na kapag lumagpas doon ay si contractor na ang magbabayad. Then at the same time ay lagyan ng reward system na kapag di naabot ang max ay hati kayo sa savings.
