How consumable drops actually works

I think fortress outskirts with a bunny is way better farm for blue brains just activate all 4 points and run around with skill 3 on bunny you get a decent amount

If you can time it good. This drop will give you a roll every 20 seconds. If we are bringing multiple people into it one person kills elite other activates mission. 10 secnds

With an Enzo and sniper you can get a drop like every 5-10 seconds. Nothing is matching that as far as blue brain farms go.

Use hailey for that quest farm Activate the quest Go upstairs to the right (carefully, dont alert the enemies bellow) Use hailey sniper skill and kill the miniboss (leave the materials dropped on the ground) Repeat this 20 times and go get the materials

Maybe it was RNG but I was farming reactors with no increased consumable drop chance for a few hours and then put it on and seemed to noticeably get more vault keys.

I think you're wrong. The multiplier does not give you 20% more, but increases your chances of getting the maximum by 20%. With blue brains, the maximum is only 5, so it's difficult to test. Try the whole thing with polyatomic ion particles, for example, in my opinion it is clear here or with macromolecule biogel...

That sentence was taken to literally I think. When looking at the data there is just 20% more blue brains after 100s of runs. That's all I ment. The increase is in the drop not the amount you are correct but I did not mean for it to be conveyed as the drop that drops has more 20% more in it

they are close but depending on how you farm and if you only count the brains fortess courtyard is faster. for outskirt you need about 60-65 seconds for clearing the mission + restart with 3 elites. fortress solo as a jayber (turret at elite spawn) for example you need about 12 seconds per elite kill + restart and you have to collect every 40-50 runs for the brains not to despawn. this might be different in party setups did only test solo that 40-50 is fine. 1 elite per ~20 seconds vs 1 elite per ~12 seconds. But if you value mission completions in terms of gold as well you are correct but that was not the statement.
