Begovic is not a good backup keeper lmao, Bailly and Rojo are better than Jones and Smalling on form. Rashford and Lingard aren't inexperienced Lingard scored the FA Cup winning goal last season. And despite not being starters; Darmian and Young are still extremely good backups, and Mourinho loves Fellaini. Whether they played a match recently or not is irrelevant, they didn't play the same starting 11.
