There is this photo shoot "The body shapes of the worlds best athletes compared side by side" as someone with twink and petttite girl disease it has helped me with inspiration and reference for diverse and powerful looking bodies. Perfect for body studies in my opinion.

Ok Fung, I think the reason the hair looks odd (10:14) is because the part you shaded is on top of the part that’s getting hit by the light, in which case it should also be getting hit by the light, thus no longer being darker like in the original.

My thesis is- I feel like the way they draw is so natural even without color is that they're quite used to traditional. With the way the brush lights or shades- I loved doing it as a kid and now - since with pencil it is less a necessity to zoom in or out- and you can see small little marks if you look close enough- they might be used to traditional, watercolor, or maybe they're just versatile like that :0 So I guess if you're entirely used to is or comfortable with it- try and use pencilier strokes and strands. Sorry for the semi-paragraph- I'm a derail person 👹👹👹👹👹

Is it just me or the rounded eyes seemed more fungzau than pilyeon 😅 Looking at pilyeon's eye drawings, i think they seem to be pointing upwards in a straight line that's curved in the edges (hope that makes sense-) especially in the photo in 0:29
