I have been in this industry and am very familiar with the equipment and the company. I have watched a number of videos on corrugated and I often find they have a variety of flaws. Your presentation was flawless. Everything you said was accurate. I was amused that you showed a jam up on the stacker of the rotary die cutter tho. Real good job you guys did. Corrugated has been recycling for decades. A baler to bale scrap has been in box plants probably back into the 50's or 60's. By the time I got to the industry in the 70's, there was no such thing as a company that did not bale and sell scrap, OCC as you correctly identified it. Again, great job.

Same here buddy same here I've been in the industry for a little while I've operated everything from the corrugator the labeler I operated the palletiser the only thing I only machine I have yet to operate in my young career is the slitter or the slicer I believe we call it the splicer and I work very hard I'm like a chess piece for the company I go wherever they want I do whatever they want I operate whatever they want I'm an overall kind of guy I guess you could say I'm like a manufacturing tactician not trying to brag or boost myself you know I respect for guys like you that have been in the industry for a long time and I'm a young guy in his thirties that you know trying to build his life and go to resume with this industry everything I learned comes from guys like you older guys that have been in the industry for a long time my background is more in steel coils that's how I got into this industry I used to process a manufacturing machines that did steal which is the same concept except you know it's steel Wii flute it we slice it it's in roles we can cut it into sheet we can reroll it we can do all that matter of fact we had big contracts with companies that made electric cars and you know battery companies and stuff like that which was a special grade of metal with was in a copper-coated steel but now I'm in the cardboard industry and I love it I love the work but why I have someone with experience here I would like to ask you a question I work my ass off I work first shift and my boss is love me everybody loves me anybody who gets me on their machine loves me why all of a sudden did they move me to 3rd Shift I'm very confused and perplexed by this situation it's more money and it's you know a night time shift sounds cooler but what do you think honestly is someone who's been in the industry a long time if you were on First and you made a certain amount of money and then worked your ass off and then they came to you on a Friday and told you you're working third shift next week you make more money and all that would you say this is a positive or negative? Meaning do you think the company is moving me to 3rd Shift to get more production out of their shift or moving me to 3rd Shift cuz they don't like me on first?

Hi! This channel is absolutely amazing. I just took a job doing sales for a paper & supplies company (coming from a beer salesman background) and while my bosses can explain things to me, these visual aids and your enthusiasm truly are crucial to me. Thank you for all your help.

Thanks so much! We're so happy to hear that. Best of luck in your new position, and if we start a series on the beer logistics, now we know who to call. 😊

Yes, the jam-up on the die-cutter was great! Glad to see that was left in - I blame the structural designer for that one. Interesting to hear this plant is also using recycled waste water to make up their corrugator adhesive. I'm sure the starch supplier loves that (sarcasm).

What's that building over there? - That's just a TV studio where they film Krusty the Clown and other non-box-related programs. Since it has nothing to do with boxes, I'll just shut these blinds.

Thankyou for this quality video, showing the jam up on the stacking section was great, but one complaint was she wearing steel toe shoes that are slip resistant? in the video it looks like she was wearing regular shoes. Sorry for being knit picky. I know that there is no room to not follow safety protocol in this industry. Safety is number one in any company.

What, what??? Saw the flat box material & waste-recycle stuff, but no "formed box!!! " There seems to be missing the box-forming process??? So how does the corrugated get formed??? Just pointing out.
