Mizo is governed by Zoram People's Movement party a non-BJP Govt! The current CM of Mizo used to be a member congress before he formed Zoram People's Movement party. I think if BJP was in power then they would have brought changes in that state!

Instead of supporting the Mizo Govt, I believe we should personally support the beautiful North Eastern states, rural areas and our fellow brother/sisters there by making some contributions. Their local Mizo Govt is not trustworthy. They will keep the money! For example, the state govt is getting funds from the center but the funds get distributed elsewhere instead of reaching the common people. It's state govt's responsibility to take care of the schools and colleges within their state! Just the funds come from center! Union cannot interfere in a state's governance So, I think we should personally support them by making some contributions instead if supporting the Mizo Govt.

There is a plant, it's a kind of shrub whose flowers (white colour) come in the month of December. The leaf sap is the best way to do dressing. It prevents infection and speed up healing. It available almost every where in North East. I have been using it since my childhood.

Shelby is right about anti-biotics. In India doctors are too liberal about anti-biotics. This results in Anti-biotic resistance and medicines stop working on you when you get used to a salt too much. One of my uncles is the Chief Medical Officer (CMO) while the other is the Vice Chancellor in AIIMS, both of them have recommended me antibiotics in such situations! She has the right to resist, but that is not the smartest move! I would say! Under Indian conditions especially in moist areas, you have to have anti-biotics along with Probiotics!

They have their own ADC government which was run by themself, most of development in this area was look after by their chakma autonomous district council government.....they get seperate fund for their ADC area but they choose to do corruption, you can not blame state government on that.....also most of the road in this area was not build by mizoram state PWD department, it was the responsibility of ministry of defence which was known as BRO (Border road organisation) and chakma autonomous district counci governmentl
