Atul Subhash is not the only case. I have come across atleast 15 suicide cases by men after Atul's case. The recent one today ( 1st jan 2025) is a business owner from Delhi who goes by the name Puneet Khurana. He also recorded a 59 min video but police seized the phone and didn't let this family access the last video of their son before suicide.

While i commend these videos, the problem with the "patriarchy" narrative like in 3:45 is that they are and always will be used to minimize the pain of men and make women the greater victims even in the face of overwhelming evidence of victimhood of men. Men have always faced historical gender equality too, a male domestic violence victim even a 100 years ago had nowhere to turn to men have always been sent as canon fodder to war while women were always protected. If we truly want to change the laws and make our society more gender equal, we have to change the mode of conversation to unapologetically acknowledge the victimhood of men. Only then true change will happen.
