Depreciation only applies if you make under 150,000 a year. There’s lots of situations where it’s not relevant

@@levimachado total income. There are certain exceptions, such as meeting the criteria to be considered a real estate professional. But if you have a regular job and your rental property is passive income, 150k is the cap. I believe it starts at 100k and tapers to zero at 150k MAGI
