My mum took her last breath a few weeks ago i nursed her for 9 weeks and when it happened as i left her room i could not believe she was gone so still so silent so eerie it has left me broken 💔 but i cling to my faith that my mums faith had her next breath in heaven seeing the glory of God ❤ now awaiting the glorious reunion with her in heaven, come Lord O come.

Grew up Southern Baptist and they preached the fear of God and you know what? I'm much older now and can see that it really wasn't a bad thing after all. It sifted through those that were luke warm only.

I've always been taught that God does not send people to HELL. People send themselves to HELL for their choices they make. God doesn't want to see anyone go to HELL.

God doesn't send anyone to hell if people choose to live in their sins and reject Jesus Christ as their personal savior, when the people stand before a just God as their judge he honors their choice and they send themselves to hell by not asking Jesus Christ to be their Lord and Savior.

This is a great message and I agree with 99% of it But I do disagree with one thing People do not go to hell because they choose to go to hell People go to hell because they choose not to believe in hell Or more to the point the Bible says that Jesus throws them into the fire where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth When you say people choose hell at least to me that only makes sense if they jump into the fire

I think what Greg means is that by extension by choosing to reject or harden your heart against God then you are choosing hell as there are only 2 destinations of choice.

I have a sincere question, Greg. If only God is omnipresent, and the devil cannot be in all places at once, but in one place at a time, how are evil and evil's influences so apparent everywhere and at all times? I am not suggesting the Evil One has the omnipresence of God, but he certainly seems to have a grip on this world and in a simultaneous and nearly ubiquitous manner. Help!

The suffering we endure in this life is due to the sin we brought into this world. God created us with free will and we chose to sin. Since the sacrifice of Jesus Christ, Christians are not promised to not suffer in this life, we are promised that all suffering endured for Him will be rewarded in the life to come. Suffering in this life should drive us towards Him. God does not cause suffering in His children, but He allows it to fulfill His purpose in our lives, to bring us closer. Then, when we close our eyes for the last time in this life, we immediately open them in eternity, and Jesus will tell us, "Well done, good and faithful servant." There will be no more suffering.
