To count the word count per column?

You should be able to do a workaround by counting one less than the number of spaces in a cell. Try something like this: =ARRAYFORMULA(SUM(LEN(TRIM(A:A)) - LEN(SUBSTITUTE(A:A, " ", "")) + (A:A "")))
