Afghanistan: Original government body fled, and its military broke down due to loss of moral and actual lack of confidence in itself. By all rights the Afghan government should have been able to fight off the Taliban but fear, and hysterical instead of bravery made them fail as the US completed its operations. Now the taliban has the equipment but without proper maintenance or ability to resupply for parts and equipment most of it is not going to last long. Iseral: Complicated history. Advanced, with high tech weapons and US bought ones, it protects itself from other middle eastern states with the very real threat of being invaded but at the same time continues to expand on the territory of a people that doesn't deserve the abuse Iseral has been causing them. A case of becoming the monster they fear. Ukraine: Post soviet nation that is the lynch pin to Putins Plans to rebuild the Russian Federation into a new Soviet Union (in size) and to expand territory to ensure that NATO doesn't roll tanks into Moscow. Was literally being prepared on a false golden platter by Putins muppet in the US until he was voted out and has quickly gained the support of NATO and the US (with its new administration) Its literally fighting against a nationalistic invader and as of right now is basically a mini NATO given the wide variety of European and American Arms, and in a twisted joke to Russia, Soviet Era equipment modernized and being used by far better trained soldiers.

Dutch is not entirely non-specific. The bald women with slurs on their face dumped on the edge were women that had relationships with the German occupiers during WW2. Yes, because we couldn't beat the Nazis we decided to take it out on women in stead. You can hear the guy say "hoer" = wh*re. Another example of our strong charachter during times of war is the train wreck you see. The train got hijacked by Moluccans that helped us beat some other Indonesian peoples that we decided should be eradicated for money, in return for us giving them their own state or government. We never made up on that promise and they hijacked a train for protest. Peole got killed. I do not understand the Lockheed reference though.

Here’s a little fact: The suicide planes that you saw in the Japan scene were Kamikaze Yokosuka MXY7 Ohka “ Human Rocket “, mostly known as Cherry Blossom. It was developed during late end of the Pacific war and is almost impossible to stop it with a top speed of 630 km/h. The Americans named it “ Baka bombs “. I gotta say, that although I’m not French , and I’m not offended, French military history is kinda long, and the embarrassing surrender was because their best troops were killed at dunkirk, so ya know it would only take like some month of inesecary bloodshed for France to fall, so they just did the only thing they could do, surrender. So it’s kinda not fair for them to get this stereotype.

In the first one you can hear the farmer call a bald woman; Moffenhoer. This name was given to women who had a relationship with German soldiers during the occupation in WW2. During the Liberation their hair was cut off, were humiliated by the people and then locked up. I can also see the destroyed train which is a reference to the Train hostage crisis in 1975. Seven South Moluccans seized a train with about 50 passengers on board in open countryside near the village of Wijster. The hijacking lasted for 12 days and three hostages were killed. The hijackers surrendered. Two years later in 1977 another train hostage crisis took place. This time near De Punt. Again by a group of South Moluccans. After three weeks of negotiations, releasing some hostages and spying by the police/army, the government decided to react by force. They simulated a fake air attack with F104 starfighters and after that Marines broke into the train. During the action 6 of the 9 hijackers and 2 hostages were killed. As a Dutchman, i think ours is pretty dark and serious. But it did really happen. PS: You can also see another historical reference when you see the guy on the left reading a newspaper with Lockheed on it; Lockheed bribery Scandal 1976 with Prince Bernhard of Lippe-Biesterfeld.
