This video just informed me of how things were done in the ancient past. There was nothing more than basic tools: Lathes, Sandpaper, Cutting Heads, Glue, and a good dose of craftsmanship that led to the creation of so much in antiquity that we marvel over today wondering how it was done/made. Everything from that incredibly strong adhesive (which I want to know what it is and how it is made) to how stone was cut/carved and even polished... This video has answered everything.

Very impressed to see how you manufacture those marble vases with those primitive lathes !!!!! Makes me appreciate my exact same vase (72 cm tall) a thousand times more !!!!! Bought mine at a show in Pretoria, South Africa about fifteen years ago from an Indian chap who was selling various marble products in his stall.
