This is beautiful, it feels mi heart, I jutt came from Puerto Rico, I lost my sister two weeks ago and the process has been very painful. I still did the strength side in the mornings to keep my sanity and moving. For me this feels like a kid in a candy store. Ever since I started with SS I feel a connection with the primal, animal flow. Of course I am a beginner but I have to say that whenever there is a flow in the movement from the program I just get a smile on my face and feel like a little kid, excited to go for it. I do love the crawling and keep practicing hanging. Thank You for this it feels me up. Belssings.

@@frankserrano9156 wrestler's do have a physique that's quite unique to their sport. I've not wrested, but I believe it's the strength training but with a twist... literally... wrestler's do a lot of rotational exercises but twisting the entire body in both directions, most modern day sports won't allow that level of contact because it... hurts when things break lol... but wrestler's train for that I presume.

I wonder whether this works even when one is in old age with less muscles ? What about pain from arthritis and all those other attributes of aging ? I’m in my mid-70s and have done 20+ years of yoga until groin pain stopped me from continuing and I’ve gotten so darn stiff since then. Luckily I do my own floor washing, like to squat when I get the chance and move and act in a younger way then my age, but I want to get stronger and better so I can be as strong and flexible as possible into my 80s and further , please 🙏🏻 goddess;-)

I'm pleased for you, I end up crawling when I do the hoovering as I can't stand up to do it after a certain amount of time. Bulging discs never go back in though so I've researched, a slipped disc will but it's happened twice so it's bulging now. I shall try and crawl more.

Ever since I discovered Original Strength, I became a fan, not only of the resets (which makes you feel amazing), but of the daily ten minute work Tim Anderson talks about often. Imagine, just 10 minutes of crawling every day can make you more strong, resilient, conditioned and mobile than you ever were. That's what I've been doing for the past six months, and I'm feeling great and capable for anything life might throw up at me.

Well said. I got into 'bear walking' (not all that much but) and its helped me. I'm pretty good at it, on the tiles from the front door hallway to my bedroom, maybe back again. Cats think I'm crazy. I'm 67. Hurt my hands at first but not anymore (had to hold my slippers on my palms) (would be easier if the floor had nice carpet) but it takes the tension away before getting ready for sleep best of all it removes all doubt - that its good to not take oneself too seriously. If you can, do the silly walk 😅 a bit at a time and as you do get stronger it never loses the silliness - cats ignore me now oh its just her... 😮

I was always very mobile. I could do a deep squat and crab walk during both my pregnancies. I've always had a strong core and hips and didn't think they could get better. Raising my two sons, I'm constantly crawling around, moving quickly to help when they fall, bending in ways I never thought to bend. Despite still healing from this last pregnancy, I'm stronger than before. My muscles can handle more and move more. My sons have retaught me the very basics of movement. It's wonderful.

One day I got down on the floor with a toddler and crawled around and had the thought that I would try crawling daily as an exercise. Every 4 hours, 2 to 4 people put the baby through a short crawling session. I also attended a 2-3 day convention featuring Dr Doman in Philadelphia in 1979. I don’t know why I’ve let it lapse, can’t wait to get started again. I wonder if it helps with the various forms of dementia since it benefits brain damaged babies and children.

I agree with you in part, but overall it looks like this: The human body needs holistic movement, consisting in my opinion of predominantly upright walking (walking approx. at least 60-70%, as well as 30-40% holistic movement training of all muscle groups) - If possible, avoid sitting down for 12 hours a day. I say this because otherwise our ligaments shorten more quickly, which can also lead to cramps. The more we walk and stand upright throughout the day, not sitting or parked, the better, also because the latter also puts our body in - I consciously call it death position - it shuts down everything, including digestion, metabolism and thinking , which is why it's incomprehensible to me when children are supposed to sit for so long and a lot at school, when working on the computer and so on... People are practically shooting themselves in the foot. Health is something holistic and for me it starts with thinking about myself, my life and how I value it. It takes care of getting an awareness to ourselves of how everything works. What lies dormant for too long dies, resisting it and wanting to live is linked to this for me. I often only eat once a day. If there are too many highly processed foods, I like to add more liquid or green rabbit food because it helps our body digest these hard-to-digest foods, which would otherwise wear it out too quickly. It's not wrong to incorporate the movements you've shown into your daily training, but be careful that it doesn't outweigh the consequences. The relationship between upright walking and holistic movement is an essential recipe that has proven itself for me for years and, in contrast to other people, I see that I feel fitter, others give up before me and I move forward, despite all the circumstances. Finally, it should be mentioned that we should manage our mental health and consciousness with healthy and positive thoughts as well as love for ourselves (thus automatically also for others). If we don't do this, we will be misled more quickly than we would like. This creates negative, depressive thoughts, they are not beneficial and completely useless, don't let that happen, we have the greatest power over our lives, nothing or no one else should have the opportunity to control us.

This is great and I've always said I need to crawl around like a baby to get back those "mini" muscles and workouts on the tendons/ligaments and joints for full movement. I'm 57 and I am just starting this and happened to come across this video. So I'm thankful I'm not crazy!! BUT I know people out there are going to say, because I've heard it in the tile industry and I am married to a mason and my son is a mason. But I hear all the time "I set tile and my knees hurt or shoulder hurts" or "I lay brick/block and my back hurts or shoulders hurt, etc. My thought is....because you only focus on that muscle group 8 hours plus a day and you don't add to it with other movements for exercise, it's actually making your body weak in other areas. So those that you don't use or workout, like the "muscle, tendons, ligaments" get ignored and lazy and then your domino's fall. The entire body is connected, when you focus or work a job that is only utilizing certain muscle groups, and you don't watch what you eat and feed the body healthy foods, then the dominoes fall. This world has become lazy, at your fingertips lazy, I've fallen for it too!! But time to take it back!

it´s all about core strenght. As I first started crawling I was comletely exhausted after a few meters. I thought what a shame, because it´s the most natural movement. But the progress is very good. Thanks a lot for best advise. Tomorrow morning I´m glad to have have my next exercise.

I love this video for the wonderful mix of musical and visual experience melted into art. Honestly possibly the most capturing fitness video i ve seen so far. Also bc of the content and topic ofc. But the way the beats land on the visuals. Wow. Really enjoyable. Normally watching fitness videos is boring and rather not stimulating ... this one is different. Thank you.

Amazing, thanks so much... well timed too.... I just switched major focus in reducing my weight lighting and getting more categories of movement happening... i added a category of 'primal/crawl/ground' for me to engage in after my yoga sessions, and absolutely love it.... i was inspired by you last year and started really enjoying these primal movements and today, this video hit home (during a bought of intense back pain too) - thanks so much, i want to crawl every day! :)

Thanks man. I would try crawling daily. Not for a "workout" but to get joints and muscles moving well. Check back in, in a month and see how you're body is feeling :)
