I truly believe that we as basketball fans fetishise being an asshole and confuse it with competitiveness. Bron comes from a single parent household and has spent his pife being probably one of the most scrutinized athletes of all time. i watched that game 6 live with my cousin. my cousin was talking mad shit about Bron until Bron's first dunk in the game. i had just graduated high school, my cousin was a junior in high school. we were always hanging out and he was a big Melo and Kd fan so you already know he hated Bron. i was on summer break and staying at his (my aunt's and uncle's) house for a few weeks when that series was occurring. so from the shot paul pierce hit in LeBron's face at the end of game 5 until the Bron dunk he was non stop talking about how Bron can't shoot , he always crumbles in the playoffs (this is after Bron had eliminated his favorite player Melo and the knicks in the first round mind you) and kept bringing up 2011, game 5 , 07 vs the spurs . then Bron kept hitting shot after shot with no emotion other than anger and irritation etched on his face. my cousin was silent by the end of the first quarter and wanted to turn the game off by the third quarter 😂

Why are we pretending that JR didn't screw up in ways that you shouldn't. People miss free throws, hell Lebron has had issues closing out games with free throws. You shouldn't be in a situation where one of your players forgets the score in a free throw situation and then runs the ball out to half-court and then they get no shot attempt off, compared to what they could have had. Idc who won by the way, but pretending he didn't screw up pretty big makes no sense.@@drakotv9240

Why are we pretending JR didn't mess up? You are in the finals in a free throw situation and you aren't aware of the score? Dribbles out to half court and they don't even get a shot attempt off? Idc who won(not a fan of either team) but he did mess up pretty bad considering everyone else was aware of what was going on. Your first point still sends Lebron to a FTA that he might miss just like Hill, it isn't like Lebron hits FT's at a high rate. Hill still provided a chance which JR didn't. Not sure why the rest is relevant, this isn't an argument I want to have about who won or lost but more about how JR was the only one on the court unaware of the situation, which apparently isn't that bad.@@drakotv9240

Imagine the no jokes no smiles 2nd year Miami #6 version of Lebron his whole career he would have 8 rings. Thats my only knock is he didn't have that Kobe Jordan killer in him but he did that year. That version also showed up in the 2018 finals when he played aginst the Super Warriors w/Durant all by himself although he lost hem numbers was crazy and that was his last beast year to to me

people dont call lebron the goat because he has goat mentality but doesnt use it every night. he uses it on special occasions because to be like kobe and mike every game you kind of have to be evil a little bit.

lebron playoff ppg 11/12: 30.3 chris bosh playoff ppg 11/12: 14 dwayne wade playoff ppg 11/12: 22.8 lebron playoff ppg 12/13: 25.9 chris bosh and dwayne wade playoff ppg 12/13: 28 11/12 celtics playoff ppg: KG - 19.2, PP -18.9, RR - 17.3, RA - 10.7 do with this information what you will, but personally im tired of hearing “miami big 3” cause if we go by your definition of big 3 considering stats then Memphis, San Antonio, Chicago, OKC, Boston all had Big 3s and Atlanta had a Big 4. And then if you go within spitting distance of the metrics you want to use Chicago and Memphis become Big 4s and Indiana becomes a Big 3. If you wanna call that miami team a Big 3 be my guest but with YOUR metrics YOU chose then just know that 6-7 teams out of 16 were Big 3s and one was a Big 4.

1:58 lmao Bron did it with Cleveland. Went to the finals lost, lost in the playoffs in games 4,5, and 6…wouldve been nothing different….. As a Heat fan part of me wish he didnt have this game. Love that Wade got 3 but Bron fans make liking Bron impossible
