A few years ago when I moved I didn't have any internet or TV at my house for a month. I had to drive to the nearest grocery store and use their WIFI. I spent so much time in the parking lot I could tell you what every employee drives, where they park, when they arrive, when they leave, what time the cop does his rounds and how long it will be before he comes back, when the armored car comes to get the money, etc. It was hilarious how much I could see. And nobody had a clue! And I was in a rental car the whole time!

Larry keeps it so real with you. You do stuff illegal, you really got to trust who you are with. Got to have a plan and a "just do it" mentality with the skill set to get the job done. Its amazing the rush involved when you are doing a job. Not worth it though for a million reasons. Like its wrong for one. Lord knows Ive done a few things in my time. 5 years in federal prison helped change that. Mine was for weed though. Really informative video that gives some good insight of what its like to be Larry back in the day. Thanks for sharing again. Nice save on the cops vs FBI work. Had me rolling. Was fun to watch. Great video

And also, he was talking about jewelry store robbing, not Jew-hiding or other instances where people did illegal stuff for morally valid reasons in an oppressive regime. But I'm sure those who have done illegal stuff for morally valid reasons (usually involving the protection of a person or saving lives the government deemed unworthy, or else educating about banned but important topics) also needed to keep some of these sorts of things in mind (with some exceptions and modifications taking into account the fact that no matter what the law says, quite a few people are going to see morally valid actions as right, so that changes the equation somewhat, though not always for the better because there were others who would try to drown those voices out). If you're going to do stuff like that, make it less along the lines of jewelry robbing and more along the lines of hiding or transporting victims of a second Holocaust, or disseminating knowledge that is banned for the purpose of suppressing people's rights. And if you are doing one of those things that protects people when the law refuses to, try to find or form a network that does those services if at all possible (folks in Nazi Germany weren't always able to do that, though some were, it really depended on individual circumstances).

When I was little the “Texas Seven” were found at an RV park in my town. Small town up in the mountains, I think they hid for a while … with it being a small town I’m surprised they weren’t recognized sooner. The whole town was on a lock down type of thing the day they were caught. My mom and the rest of the town talked about all the places they’d seen them.

Being ex-military you get in to a routine of not getting in to routine. For example I’d leave for work at different times, take different routes, different lunch places or take in a lunch. The reason is you don’t want to be predictable. Look at what happened at Hyde park, mounted squadron got hit because they were predictable. I had to take transports between 2 bases regularly, but never the same route or same time. The “We attack at dawn” is pure Hollywood nowadays.

I would think deep cleaning a hotel room would be suspicious. Like when I leave a hotel it's not a warzone but it is obviously "used". If I was a cleaning staff and walked in to a room that I know people were just in and it is cleaned up like a Good Housekeeping cover, I'm assuming they were doing something illegal like using/prepping/making drugs

Here is a video idea, how has the Gardner Museum artwork remained missing since 1990? Do you think it was an inside job? Do you think the artwork was just too well-known to be sold? Think it was destroyed? Do the Feds know a lot more than they are saying and why hasn't anybody been arrested?

I know it's just info, and a heist would be nearly impossible to get away with in 2022 - or close to it, but there would certainly be a, phone/burner phone/no phone, conversation going on in this day and age. And I was curious about the casing scenario also; disguises, time of day, frequency, that kind of thing. I'm the type with a criminal mind, but zero interest in actually attempting any of this. Technology has come a long way since your day. I enjoy the vids, Larry.
