Ephesians 6:10-18 says, Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints. The bible is no old book. You have to really let Christ open your eyes; to see the world in shambles. Many people say it's a religion to lock up people in chains, and say it's a rule book.. why? Because people hate hearing the truth, it hurts their flesh, it's hurts their pride, it's exposes on what things have they done..people love this world so much, s*x, money, power, women, supercars.. things of this world. Still trying to find something that can fill that emptiness in your heart. You can't find that in this world.. only in Christ, the bible is no chains, it's a chainbreaker. Breaking your sins into pieces... Repent now, and turn back to the true Lord only.. God bless.

why does shit water need to be processed to be dumped in the middle of the giant ass ocean while in motion though? like, it's just natural material. shit and water. if the concentrated amount is the problem, then don't store it at all. if it gets dumped every time someone takes a dump, then it's not gonna do anything to the ocean at all. honestly, same with rv's. why can't they just dump their shit water in the middle of a forest where it's not gonna bother anything? is the treatment process being required an admittance that they feed us tons of horrible chemicals that need to be filtered out so it doesn't fuck the wildlife? it can't really be because of toilet cleaning chemicals or such. hardly any is used comparatively that it gets diluted as fuck

Actually, it's much more fun than that. I'm an Engineer on cruise ships, let me tel you a bit more! When the vacuum system picks up fluids and solids from the toilet, they get filtered. The solids and up in Vacuum Units and the liquids just get a bit of chemicals mixed. After the vacuum unit reaches a certain threshold, what's inside gets send to the ship's specific Waste Water Treatment. They vary, but have all the basic functionality: Bacteria is allowed to grow inside ventilated chambers, allowing oxygen to get mixed with all the residue to make more chemical compounds which makes it easier for the bacteria to disinfect solid waste. After which, solid and liquids may go through an UV Light System to essentially destroy anything on a microscopic level. After which it passes through an analyzer which allows the waste to be sent overboard, if it still detects solids, it all gets sent back to the start to repeat the process. You must discharge Waste Water ONLY after 12 Nautical Miles from the nearest land. And also, please never throw towels/tampons/condoms down the toilet. It will clog the pumps in the vacuum unit. And that's a literally shitty job to fix, underpaid engineers on watch will isolate the vacuum sistem affected, open this massive thing up, try to get to the suction of the pump navigating through a mixture of sperm, poop, pee and whatever have ya using a stick, which of they are lucky will manage to find and remove the thing clogging the suction line. If not, well, one of them has to immerge inside the vacuum unit in order to fix this clogged pump. You will never believe the shit we find inside these Units. So please, for the love of God, Allah, Zeus or any other divine and holy being you believe in, don't throw anything down the toilets. I assure you, we do not get paid nearly enough to do all of this😅 Edit 001: Solids get broken down by a huge rectangle that's got motors rotating shafts, breaking down solids. Which after this go through another unit with chemicals to allow the solids to float atop, and liquids to stay down in the chamber. This whole process usually takes days, the biggest time consumer is the bacteria's job. But it's a constantly working system, it never stops for 1s. All of this gets sent overboard through a pipe continuously as the ships goes, until the level on the tank reaches the Low Level Alarm, from which the Engineer in charge will stop the pump from the Engine Control Room. (ECR). No, this is not ChatGPT. Kids these days are failing to understand people have jobs. Yeah, weird channel for an engineer lol ahaha, before I started my career as Engine Officer, I was self-teaching Audio Engineering/Music Production/Composition. I started the day I turned 10y/o, and it's almost been 15 years! Oh god, if it was too long to read before the edit, imagine now.. Funnily enough I began the comment by saying I would give out more information about this process. Whatever did you guys expect by "more information" I wonder.. The lowest salary for an Engineer is 700$. With 3.56$/hr per overtime. Engineers work 7 days a week, for 8/9 to 3 months as you get promoted. (On cruise ships. On cargo ships your contract is around 6-8 months, with less money. Don't ask me why, I don't know) On watch duty it's usually 3rd Engineer Officer as watch leader, 2nd as team leader in ECR, and a Motorman as a rating, sometimes the motorman can be replaced by an oiler. You can usually also find a Cadet Engine Officer on watch, who's job is to practice and learn every system on board to become a 3rd Engineer. But in case something this bad happens, the rating will do all the dirty jobs. If he's lucky then his 3rd engineer will buy him a Frappuccino from Starbucks. You can throw toilet paper inside the toilet, just not much of it. Try to use as little as needed for your own sake, because toilet paper isn't enough to clog a whole system, but it will clog your cabin's discharge pipe. Making it so you'll have to call for a plumber. In case you ever find yourself doubting on whether or not you should flush due to the amount of toilet paper used, open your shower and turn it as hot as you can, until steam starts coming out and direct the shower head to the toilet as to fill it with hot burning water. This will be enough to break the toilet paper down so that once you flush it won't clog your line. Feel free to ask any other question!

Sure.. that would be the case if all would follow the rules.. For example: U.S. law requires cruise ships to treat waste within about 3.5 miles of shore-but beyond that, there are no restrictions on dumping polluted sewage and graywater. Researchers have estimated that over a billion gallons of sludge made from excrement and food scraps are released into the ocean every year by cruise lines...

Cruise ships are a very rare case of regulation and punishing corporations actually making a huge difference. Cruise ships used to dump all their untreated sewage and trash into the ocean over international waters, but now they bring all their trash back to port, and the water they dump is actually cleaner than government drinking water standards when it’s dumped. Governments have fined them so much that they actually figured it was cheaper to retrofit older ships and fit new ships with these treatment plants. Really cool engineering and a cool example of environmental regulation actually accomplishing something

Fun fact, it wasn't always like this. At the golden times of oceanic travel, when steam ships dominated the waters, racing for the titles of the biggest and the fastest, ships like the classy Titanic and many more like itself used to literally dump out all the waste collected from passangers, and that would go on untill around 1970's, when people changed their views of the oceans as an "Unlimited resource, which cannot be polluted".

We got to see how they plan and get all the food on board n stored to the central control room to the captains chair and also this. The logistics of cruise ships is truly astonishing.
