Gun crime in Australia is rare, more often it's blades and blunt objects.

By the way, I must add that not many criminals use a gun during an armed robbery in Australia... they mainly use knives or other less offensive weapons. I live here. I know. Personally, I would rather have a knife aimed at me than a gun of any sort. I know I would have a better chance to survive.

So these are really laws from an individual who happens to be a feminist, rather than the laws that the feminist movement wants to change.

I couldn't agree with 99.9% of this more...legalizing pot and prostitution, absolutely...the labeling of marijuana by parents' groups (whose members should be at home, minding their own kids, instead of telling everyone else what to do and think) as a GATEWAY drug is a gross exaggeration at best...and legalizing the big bad P would undoubtedly free a lot of women from what is basically servitude and slavery

It is also illegal to carry guns, knives, etc in Australia and to be honest I feel completely safe from my fellow citizens. Guns are a menace in any civilized society. If people feel the need to have the ability to kill their fellow citizens then I don't consider them to be civilized. Your "Right to Bare Arms" is a very much out-dated idea, if not originally misguided. I find it strange that you want to protect "innocent" animals but are happy with people potentially killing each other.
