Raise your hands ✋ if your local goodwill in your area and even surrounding areas SUCK AND ARE OVER PRICED...... My goodwill wanted 24 dollars for ECH Shrek glass character cup and 14.99 for a box of 3 yarn balls...... I'm guessing there raising prices cuz they know there trending and about resellers...and cha ching opportunity to make more money.....even tho my goodwill actually won't take clothing donations only hard goods

The brass bathtub....you use to put decorative little colored soaps in them to match your bathroom decor. Sea shells, teddy bears etc. It was a 90's thing.

Jocelyn I hope you see this, I work in a thrift store and we get prescription glasses donated all the time and we get ones that are vintage and name brand that are worth good money that we put out to sell. So glasses are always worth taking a look at.

Back in the early 80's Gloria Vanderbilt was everything. she had clothes, perfumes and purses. Her son is Anderson Cooper. The Vanderbilts were money. You can tour the Vanderbilt Mansion in Newport, RI. It's amazing.

You can also tour Biltmore Estate in Asheville, NC and it is unbelievable. However, you can't photograph and the tour price begins at about $75, more at Christmas.

The problem is that they overprice things so much, that by the time they lower the prices, the pieces are damaged by their time on the shelves. Then there are the workers who literally toss breakables into bins to take them back and re-price them or just shove things on the shelves without worrying about knocking other things off the shelves. And then you see the articles about goodwill complaining about the amount of garbage they have to deal with. smh

No Andrew! OBX is a term for the Outer Banks of NC. It's found all over "stuff." Especially souvenirs and t-shirts. Dare County, where most of the Outer Banks is, has OBX plus the number on all the license plates.

I know certified international isn't vintage, but I have bought and sold several patterns of that brand. Susan winget artist is great! Might want to consider them, check comps. (maybe at a cheaper goodwill, lol) that one is a bit pricey...

Today I found Jesus. And I saved him. Mcm crucifix from a renowned artist. Stuff also in Moma collection, from this European dude. I saw this piece a while ago behind glass. Damaged and too expensive. Now the fragile thing was just out there. So now Jesus is in my life. Excellent piece. Quite abstract. Almost restored in original glory.
