I walked into a thrift store quite a few years ago & way in the back were those pair of wood cats hanging on the wall. I thought how cool are those cats! I have to have them! I purchased them for $5.00 for the pair.

Those little mermaids with the pearls in there hands . I grew up in the 60s and my mother had those on the bathroom wall. We had a pink bathroom sink, bathtub, tiles too. And those mermaids on one wall and fish with bubbles on the other wall. Brings back memories. And don't forget the pink fuzzy things covering all of the toilet seat and tank.

🤣 Oh my gosh, you two are absolutely adorable together! When Dagny said youhad to choose between fabric or the lamp @05:24 & then said it was like Sophie’s Choice @05:27 & your reaction was SO HILARIOUS b/c I instantly thought "No way she’s seen that movie 😝"!! Then Dagny gives you a 2 second description of the movie & I started laughing even harder! Also, whatever is different, be it a new camera, editing or just being happy to be out with friends & having fun; whatever is different has made the last week of videos really fantastic! I love whatever you put out, but getting to really hear your thoughts on objects & prices feels more like we’re really walking with you & learning. I’ve been subbed to Dagny since the 1st week & she’s an absolute natural! You two shopping together will still be my favorites though😊! Oh my gosh! I remember the house I grew up in had barkcloth curtains when we moved in. The house was a beautiful mid-century home with a large front window so the curtains were huge! I remember my mom HATED them but my brother & I loved them because they literally had large dinasours on them, lol. My mom ended up taking them down & letting us build forts using them. They entertained us for hours & hours!! Thank you for the memory😊

My parents were born and raised in Kansas and we visited my grandparents there every summer. My mom's dad was a stinker ... His name was Garnett and he always told me that when he was born his parents said "Darn it" but they couldn't name him that so ... Anyway, he always, always said "Ar-Kansas" and the "Ar-Kansas River" just 'cuz he knew the folks from Arkansas disliked it so much. I learned about Whiting and Davis handbags from you Jocelyn. Today I went through my "secret stash" drawer (its huge) and low and behold I found one in my things. It has the original mirror you can pull out and use. I was so happy and had to tell you. Does anyone have suggestions on how to clean up the base metal a little bit? Also the I think its silk or satin lining? This is an older one for sure. Thanks in advance for ideas. I love your videos and have learned so much from you! Keep doing these videos. They were made from the 40's into the early 60's primarily. The 50's were their heyday. As with everything, there are lots of people who think they are cute and kitschy and there are lot who think they are bizarre and don't like them at all.

At $250 for chalk ware I think it’s another vendor renting a glass case to store their collection. I guess I’m just not a chalk ware fan. Edit to say that $250 for the Miss Priss I would snatch in a heartbeat. Maybe at $500 I would consider. Good thing we don’t all like the same!’
