I got an idea for you jack! I use this to catch spiders. Wrap a piece of black paper around your container so that when the centipede is trying to hide it goes right into the dark container to hide.

9:51 Hi Jack. So question. I dunno if this is a wound on the guy or not but notices a slight opening around the skin, just above the 3rd elbow. Are these centipede normally have these openings or is this lesion on the little guy or gal? I found this this isn't a wound have the same openings around the other lets too. So interesting. We actually did catch a few centipedes this trip and if these tiger centipedes were in the bottle for longer than 30 minutes it got this pretty strong bad shrimp smell! Not sure if it was a defense mechanism or what but it did NOT smell nice haha

One time I caught a crack in the sidewalk while skateboarding in Phoenix, tumbled into a barrel cactus and then rolled over onto a bunch of cholla minefield that a packrat created under a prickly pear. I'd rather take a single venomous bite from a centipede than pull a thousand spines out of my body over the course of about a week.

S. polymorpha is such an underrated species, I think the tiger color morph is absolutely beautiful and I would love to see one in the wild one day. As always I learned a bunch of interesting stuff, nice spot on that desert tortoise as well. I was very curious how handling the centipede would go, I’m glad that despite the watch-related issues the interaction went well. Nice work man!

The most venmous and dangerous Centipede off all is the Darwin Centipde he it's with Red colour and its got some big fands and strong jaw scary the shit out of me what amazing me about those guys are the fact that they are almost blind they cannot see images only shaddows and diffrence between night and day despite many eyes perhaps eight in the face but stil can nevigate easy with the antenna looking and searching for trace and also potential pray ....by the way well done Jack for the good work 😊
