Danny is a survivor, I went through the system starting at 14 first stop, juvenile hall then Los Pinos and YGC, then 1 step away from CYA but my probation officer told me if I went to the service as soon as I turned 17 he would cut me loose, I took his advice and left at 17years old but after I got out I went back to my old ways, hanging out with the fellas and getting in trouble again, to make a long story short I was staring at 25 to life at 22 years old which got whittled down, but because the evidence didn’t back the charge I did some time, once I got out I turned my life around, stopped hanging around the old crew, got a good job and met my future wife ( going on 35 yrs) and had kids. I retired from the Postal Service with 26 years, I will be 62 so I can relate to Danny Trejo’s life story because I grew up way also. Danny is a testament to the fact that you can be a knucklehead, but you can always change your life around and become an asset to your people🙏
