I understand that many people are in prison for wrong doings, but there is no excuse for the conditions and lack of protection for these people. This country should be ashamed of how its lower ranking citizens are treated. Some so called free people are treated just as bad as prisoners; seems like sometimes there is really not much of a difference.

I met Danny a couple years ago at a comic book convention in Chicago. He couldn't have been nicer. While I was picking out an 8x10 to have signed. He signed and wrote a long message on a Spy Kids 8x10 and just gave it to my son for free who was 3 at the time. Then we took a group photo and after, he said he wanted a photo with just my son and they took a photo flexing their muscles. Danny asked me for my address, 3 weeks later he mailed me a machete. 2 weeks later, he mailed me another one with a "Machete" plaque on it and he signed that as well. I've never met a nicer person. I was his biggest fan before that and that experience reaffirmed why.

Vlad really think Trejo is going to admit to stabbing a prison guard? He really think the people he interviews are dumb as rocks.

I only read autobiographies. I just finished Mr. Trejo's. It was excellent! He tells the same story(s) but with more detail(s). A must read for sure!!
