This was an awesome tour. I saw them August 12th 1989 in The Great Woods in Massachusetts. They were so great. I had the honor of seeing them in Las Vegas in 1997 where I met Barry and Maurice. My mom passed three months before I saw them in MA...them being my favorite group of all time; this was therapy to me. Andy passed March 10th 1988, this was summer of 1989

Dani, I am so glad you did a reaction video to "How Deep Is Your Love". It's one of the Bee Gees best songs. In fact, I remember Barry Gibb saying in an interview that "How Deep Is Your Love" is his favorite Bee Gees song that he wrote. It went to number one on the pop charts and stayed there for 4 weeks in 1977. It was the main love song from the blockbuster movie, Saturday Night Fever. You're right about the time-frame. This concert took place in 1989. Andy Gibb died in 1988. Since it was just a year later, the pain of losing Andy must have still been really fresh and you could tell in their emotional performance. If you want to get to know some of Andy Gibb's songs, I would recommend you start with "I Just Want To Be Your Everything". It went to number one on the pop charts and was the song that launched his career. I also recommend you do more reaction videos to Bee Gees songs. They are one of the greatest musical groups of all-time. Love your channel.

We didn't have videos when I was young and I'd fall in love with the way it was recorded and I love that these guys sound exactly like they do on their records. They wrote the song WISH YOU WERE HERE for Andy and they had such a hard time recording it because they were so emotional that they wouldn't sing it in public. For Whom The Bell Tolls is on the album One in memory of Andy. That was the album Andy was supposed to make with them because he was ready to join his brothers as a Bee Gee. Andy had an album to finish first and so did the brothers. Sadly he died the same year. 1988 at age 30. The whole world cried.

3:49 A genuine emotional reaction to this song. The fact that so many young women react emotionally to this song (some even burst into tears) shows how starved they are for *real* love and caring. Here's a suggestion: turn off Tinder, get off of Facebook, stop listening to Cardi B and the other rappers, and go find people who love this kind of music. It'll open up a whole new world.

Dani, just loving your Bee Gees reactions! I would really love you to react to Robin's signature song "I Started a Joke". This song was so special to him that he wanted it played at his funeral. Please, please use the same 1989 Melbourne concert to react to this beautiful song. You won't be disappointed with this choice. When he sang this song live he always gave it his all but, in my opinion, this was his most wonderful performance. I think that the audience agreed because he received a standing ovation lasting almost one minute!

I still to this day cry when I hear it. For me it reminds me of my Mother, full on Disco Queen in the 1970's, her and my step father all decked to the 9's before they went out to the Disco Club. Many good times, wine flowing and dancing in the living room with her, those were special times indeed. Over the years, the song takes on different meanings to me, but the romantic deep commitment to love and passion is where I go every time. Thanks for making me cry to this song...again!

Another young lady, with a different channel stated "How do you write something that beautiful" ? God gives a man the ability to love someone, more than he loves himself. When the right person comes along, sometimes a man's soul will overflow with words of expression, that he never knew were in him.. That's why it's important for you young ladies to be kind, and gentle and to listen with your hearts. It may not come around again. The Bee Gees had the unique and special ability to put that into words and melody.

Truly one of the most talented artists, songwriters, singers, and musicians ever. I’m so glad you take the time to listen to great older music. Andy was much younger than his 3 older brothers. The 3 older brothers began performing at a very young age together and was world famous by the time Andy was old enough to start singing and playing instruments. All of their music is great, as it has lasted 60 years plus, starting in 1958. They were so much more than just “Disco”. Barry is the oldest and tallest of the brothers. Robin and Maurice were twins. Barry and Andy resembled each other greatly, for the exception of their height. Andy was much shorter. Barry is the only surviving brother now, and he is still performing although extremely hard he says. Maurice passed in 2003, Robin in 2009. It was said the whole family was extremely musically talented and could pick up any instrument and play it without any lessons. Their songwriting skills, especially Barry’s, will forever be legendary. Their parents were also very talented; father Hugh musician and band leader, and their mother Barbara a talented singer. Some great songs of theirs to listen; To Love Somebody, Lonely Days, Fanny, Loves So Right, Words, I’ve Gotta Get a Message, Nights On Broadway, Jive Talkin’, Alone, One, I’m Satisfied, Living Eyes, Paradise, Don’t Fall in love With Me, Children of the World, Love Me, and Boogie Child. Another musician/songwriter/singer that is legendary is Neil Diamond , incredible voice, incredible lyrics , incredible performances. Especially throughout the 70’s. My favorite album is Hot August Night live recorded at the Greek Theatre number 1, not to be confused with #2. Unfortunately they did not video record it, only audio. Some great ones ; Holly Holy, Brother Love Traveling Salvation Show, Soolaimon, I Am I Said, Sweet Caroline, Cherry Cherry, Solitary Man, Play Me, Shilo, Canta Libre, and Desiree. Neil Diamond is still alive but suffers from Parkinson’s. Another one with almost 60 years of entertainment. John Denver is another legendary singer, songwriter; try The Eagle and the Hawk, Poems-prayers and promises, Annie’s Song, Rhymes and Reasons, and Calypso come to mind right off. So many great artist, voices. Many so underrated. Singer Meatloaf is another very unique incredible singer; I’d Do Anything for Love, Two out of Three Ain’t Bad, For Crying Out Loud, Not a Dry Eye in the House, Nothing at All, and I’d Lie to You (and that’s the truth). Meatloaf has been in entertainment for over 50 years. All very different, but with very unique sounds and talents. So before I go, let me list a couple more very unique singers you may not be familiar with : So let’s go with Barry White first; You’re My First My Last My Everything, Can’t Get Enough of Your Love Babe. - Lou Rawls: Lady Love, You’ll Never Find Another Love Like Mine - Aaron Neville: Bird on a Wire, Everybody Plays the Fool, Don’t Know Much, Don’t Take Away my Heaven - Lionel Richie: Sail On, Still, Three Times a Lady, Stuck on You, and Lady. Ok that’s enough to keep you searching. Thanks for your videos. Looking forward to viewing more.

Dani, one of the first filmed appearances of the Bee Gees can still be found on KZbin, when Barry was a young teenager, and the twins were little boys. Bee Gees was formed before Andy was born so he never became a member. In the sixties they were already very successful with Robin doing the lead vocals most often. By the way, the Gibbs were Manx (as in from the Isle of Man in the Irish Sea), moved to Manchester and then to Australia where they started their musical career. The song was not written in honour of Andy, but the performance was.

Please give Andy Gibb a try. All brothers always did background vocals for each other. So Andy did it for them, and they did it for Andy's music. You definitely not mistake them being related. This song is from the Saturday Night Live soundtrack, which they had numerous hits from. There is a live performance of Destiny's Child with Celine Dion performing their remake of the Bee Gee's "Emotions ". It was also like a tribute. Barry is looking on with pride and approval. I believe all his brothers had passed away by then. So sad how such a big tight knit talented family went from many to just one.
