Not gonna lie, Dmc V COMBAT was absolutely amazing. I say that coming from playing almost every similar game. Old God of wars, Dante's Inferno, castlevania reboots and the cleanest smoothest one of them all...ninja gaiden. I still play Ninja Gaiden 3 razor's edge coop arena with a buddy when we have some beers. Also I'm one of the few that also enjoyed the Dmc reboot, the controls were trash. The tone of Dmc reboot was up my alley...sex, metal and violence. I suppose I like bayonetta but the cutscenes before every fight scene ruined the flow. I think the Devs hit the sweet spot for tone, if you Thi k about it...too serious and it would be resident evil with a sword. Or too comical and it would end up like a 3d live action anime film. V was kinda neat, I loved his change of combat. Once you click the bloody palace is easy...yes he looked like a boy band dude...he Remi ded me of kylo Ren... Not a fan of Nero...he acted like a edgy teenager...hes the hardest to hit the skill ceiling for the rev sword. I'm gonna change the down vote to a like. I assumed by the title and tone was going to be more harsh. I definitely agree with the passion and heart put in, the Devs just want to make a fun and awesome game. The sales and best action game of the year definitely reignited the fire in their eyes. "Devil May Cry is back baby!" -lead dev

Eh, I like Nero. I tend to view him as a more grounded in-between of Dante and Vergil. He kind of ironically fits into the dynamic of the DMC group as the straight man since while Vergil is less campy than Dante, he is by and large THAT theater kid, and Dante is Dante. And pulling off the Red Queen Max Act honestly feels as satisfying as when you master Royal Guard and the Royal Release, since it requires a good understanding of what Nero's Combos are like like how timing the Royal Guard.
