There is a prescribed treatment for magic. The Islamic way is called Ruqyah. If one doesn’t have knowledge of it and gets ruqyah done by a person who does, for instance a sheikh or an imam who has studied the Quran and knows of this treatment, then it’s not kufr. However there are certain self acclaimed “priests” who claim to cure the magic but in reality they are also magicians and involved in kufr and shirk themselves .
