@@MaddoggComics Your welcome. If you are on Grant Morrison binge I'm curious to hear your thoughts on Nameless. That book is asking the reader to be as knowledgeable as the writer. If not you will be lost like me after reading it. Also I highly recommend Klaus by him and artist Dan Mora.

Idk I tried this back in the day but just couldn’t get into idk if it’s the character or if it Morrison themselves cause this run gets praised a lot kind of like JLA which I found to be a snores fest to so idk if I’ll ever go back to reading anything Morrison has done.

I didn’t mind it got halfway through the read but it didn’t catch my attention completely enough to finish the omnibus. I sold it and was skeptical on the lemire run

I liked some of the ideas put forth in the run, especially around Buddy’s expanded use of his powers but I do not think it lives up to the grail hype everyone bestows upon it. It’s very dated dialogue and plotting by today’s standards and I wasn’t a fan of the bland and subdued color palette. The whole meta thing with Morrison at the end might’ve been edgy at the time but it’s old hat by now and not really anything that would shock and awe a new reader. I give the whole run a 6.5 or 7 out of 10.
