Very interesting and very similar to what Naka Tatsuya senseï is explaining in budo karate (Kyo jutsu and tanden)

As a Yoshinkan Aikido practitioner, we talk about posture a lot and hearing Shioda kanchi mentioned makes me happy that he was a source of inspiration in Fujiwara sensei's research.

Dude yusuke pls be a guest on kuro obo world! Surprised ur nt on there yet
I completely agree and stand behind the concept of this improving other physical expressions. It even in my opinion extends beyond that. Since I began focusing on traditional karate, kobujutsu and iaido the development and strengths from these extended to all other facets of my life.

Hi sensei. Watching your videos is a major increase to my karate skills. I can punch very hard now. I just feel like my round kick can get better and when I put my dogi and tie my obi it is very loose so every movement we do in class I have to fix my uniform. any tips?

I think that if you do planks, you will strengthen your core more and then you will be able to hit even harder🤔
@johndough811511 ай бұрын
This is True. However, planks alone, are only one part of it. I used to do three sets of Crunches... Followed by Slow Motion Leg Lifts / Descends + Leg circles (about the size of basketballs). I think I was doing 100 normal crunches, 50 Twisting Crunches per side, and like 10-Second "hold Tense at the Top" crunches (maybe 15 to 20 of them). Leg Lifts.. maybe 10 to 15 up and downs (maybe 10 to 15 seconds to Rise, and the same to Descend). Basketball Circles, were 10 rotations clockwise, then 9 counter clockwise, 8 clockwise...etc... until you reach Zero. Then you finish by leaving your feet about 4 inches off of the floor... and holding them up for at least 60 seconds. (you shouldnt drop your feet to the floor, for the entire Leg Set). After 3 months of doing that daily, and you will develop some seriously strong Core Strength. The other part of Internal Strengthening, is Impact Based. You get a Chinese Wall Bag... which is a Canvas bag that you mount to a Solid Wall. Pack it full as possible, with Coarse Grain beach sand (never use fine grain Sandbox / Play-Sand, as that creates dust clouds, that when breathed in, will cause Cancer, later in life). You hit the sandbag with your bare fist, preferably with a vertical fist, elbow pointed downwards towards the floor. Work up to 15 minute non-stop sets... with 4 sets, coming in at just over 1 hour. The Sandbag is very different from a Heavy Bag. When you hit it... the sand conforms to the shape of your knuckles.. but right after that, becomes hard as a rock. And being that the wall behind it isnt absorbent, all of your bodies Impact forces will be bounced back into itself... challenging your entire body structure, from Fist to Toes... right into the floor, and right back into your body again. To prevent injuries, and speed healing and developmental speed... we use a special All Natural Chinese herbal solution, called Dit-Da-Jow (Iron Fist Lineament). Its best to find a source that makes it themselves, such as a local Kung Fu school. The Cheaper Artificial Synthetic versions, are totally ineffective garbage. The real deal... will completely eliminate any swelling, in less than 5 minutes flat... with only a few drops worth. Jow is applied right before and right after, sandbag sessions. Just pour about the size of a quarters worth into your hand, then rub + massage it into both hands, knuckles..etc. It will also help prevent the skin from Cracking... as it makes the skin more pliable / flexible. It vastly reduces healing times. Any bruises will vanish in about a Quarter of the time, compared to normal healing times. The Strongest / Best Jow's, are Chinese herbals, put into a vat of Alcohol... and then ages for at least 1 years time. The more time, the more powerful and effective the Jow will become... as special Compounds will form, the longer it ages. Oh... also forgot to mention, Bare Knuckle pushups. Those are also great for fist conditioning, and arm + core strength. I used to do 3 sets of pushups, before doing the ab + leg routine mentioned above. The First set... Is at least 15 Slow-Motion Pushups. I do them on my vertical fist, starting in the center of my chest. Keep the Elbows next to your ribcage at all times. At least 10 seconds Down, and 10 seconds Up... for each Rep. Breath out as you do down.. and Breath In as you go Up. The next set, is 100 standard "Fast" pushups. The Final set, are "Diamonds". Place your thumbs together, and pointer fingers together, to form a Triangle with your hands. Place the triangle in front of your head by maybe 1ft... so that when you go down diagonally... your forehead will be in the center of the triangle. Do at least 15 of these, as a minimum. Additionally, I did a decent stretching session, before the workout. Stretch the back, arms, shoulders, wrists, waist, legs..etc. My Entire Daily workout, was a full hour long. Then I would go into my Martial arts training, right afterwards. Obviously, if your fists and wrists are not strengthened and well conditioned... you wont be able to deliver high levels of power, without damaging your own body. Especially if you ever intend to hit an attacker in the head. Diet is also critically important. You want plenty of Calcium, Nutrients, and Minerals... so that your bones and tissues can heal fast, and develop density quickly. Without the proper repair materials.. your could end up doing more damage than good. Make sure to get plenty of deep sleep, for the healing + building to occur. Lack of sleep, or Restless sleep, can also reduce progression... and potentially lead to harm. Proper deep breathing sync'd with each movement, is also very important, to Iron Fist / Iron Body Conditioning development. It creates much greater Circulation channels within the tissues... and leads to many other special developments. Way too many people hold their breath, when doing something stressful.. and that is a very bad habit, that will NOT create the High Level physical developments that you are after.

@@johndough8115 Hi; normally when you go up with the pushups, is breath out as all the weight exercises.
@johndough811511 ай бұрын
@@TheReverb1 I breathe Out on the way down, and In on the way Up, with slow motion pushups. Both directions are Equally straining, when you are doing them slowly. You could also breathe in right after you are fully down.. Right before you go upwards... thus always breathing out... in for both Up and Down directions. The main keys, are never to Hold your breath... And to make sure that your movements are perfectly sync'd with your Breath timings. Also, try not to vocally "Grunt". Always keep your breath, sounding like Breath... rather than a sounding like a loud straining grunt / groan. Fill your lungs up as much as possible, and exhale at a pace where your lungs are completely emptied, by the end of your movements. For fast movements, breath fast. For slow movements, breath slow. Always pace your breath with your movement speed and timings. For things like fast chained punches, you can do small partial exhale breaths.. in rapid repeated bursts, ...then when nearly out of air, you can inhale in small rapid partial breaths, or Quickly all at once. For "down slow + up fast" pushup sets... you might invert the breathing, so that the up-fast get a strong explosive exhale.

He shows some of the Internal Methods. However, he appears to be missing some Core methods, which Elevate the technique to much more Lethal levels of output. He may have intentionally left this out... but also... he might never have learned / discovered it... Watch this Clip of Grandmaster Chen Xiaowang, of Chen Family Tai Chi, expressing "Fajin" (Explosive Power). Especially note that as he "Expresses", look at his legs shaking Violently, from the excess Vibrational Energy. Its this Whole-Body-Mass Vibrational energy, that takes the power output potentials, to a whole other level. Lethality at less than 2 inches of travel, is a very real thing... with High Level Fajin mastery. This is the core "Open Secret" technology, of all the Chinese combat arts. A lot of Modern Teachers today, dont know it, cant do it.. and or just dont teach it to the Public Masses. Also, LISTEN to the sounds that occur, when Chen Xiaowang releases. His breath is deep and it expels very fast / completely. No teeth-hissing crap that you see in most sport arts today. No Vocal Screaming, either. This is a much higher level of ability and function... and produces much greater output power levels, as a result. kzbin.info/www/bejne/nZuZhpR7lt5ogsk

There is no internal power in the mentioned vid. Just accelaration and quick stop.
