Does anyone notice that the engagement ring should be put on the middle finger? I got the same confusion back in the days too! We only put on the ring finger after the ceremony/registry. Btw, congrats again to the successful and sweet proposal! Would love to see any of your wedding plan videos!

In North America, the engagement ring is worn on the left ring finger because it's supposed to symbolize being closest to the heart. it's believed that the left ring finger is where the vein is closest to the heart.
