How did I get good with my English?

I can say from my own experience that this method works, a couple of years ago I started watching TV shows, anime and movies in English just cause I couldn't find them in my own language and from then on things kept on improving I got good with english and after that i got immersed in reading comics, manga and finally novels and now I'm quite comfortable in speaking English which was like a dream to me a couple of years ago.

Same happened with me too.I watched a lot of games couple years ago i understood the way they speak and the language they use.Later even i became comfortable in speaking English but i still stammer a bit sometimes 😅😅

I am huge Hollywood fan since childhood ...so when i was in the school I used to watch hindi dubbed movies bec I could not understand English and back then not all the movies are available in dubbed form. so i started watching in English with subtitle it was difficult initially but gradually I learnt and start understanding it. and apart from that I am a book lover too. so this thing helped me a lot to learn English. but I am at that stage where I need to learn grammar book lol. great and relatable content.

Hi Hareesh , first of all love your videos and i have watched and made my friends watch em too. Thanks for the good work u r doing . I am struggling a lot with one thing and that's insecurity because of not passing. Now that social media has taken over the world now i get insecure even from random influencer on the interner. Basically every person who is making the fortune . I have uninstalled Insta but still not able to completely keep insecurities at bay. Do u have any advice for me ?

Influencers are the last people whom you should get insecured of. Reality of influencers is that they aren't truly happy. they're not what they project. they're imploding. It's one good thing you uninstalled Instagram. I would say, stay away from it till you complete CA (guess you're a CA student). The price you pay is way more than the benefit you might get from Instagram. I don't mean to sound cliched. Just look at your own lane and run. You should have three boxes to tick every day. Just three key right things. e.g. 1) studying 3-4 hours, 2) working out for 40 mins 3) learning an extra skill for 30 mins. (or it can be any other 3 key things.) If you make sure you keep doing things like these day in and day out, then no matter what your mind tells you, you are in a much much better position. The results might come later. Recognition might come later. You just blindly trust the process and keep hitting day after day. If you become so obsessed in these three basic things, then you won't even have time to look at the outside world and feel insecure. Your process alone will give you immense confidence. @@deepamamtora6109 There is no wrong aiming for a rank. Even I have thought that a rank to finish the course would be nice, after all these many attempts. But it didn't happen. the thing is it's not a crime to aim for a rank. But we need to reorganize our life in every which way possible on how a rankholder will think, speak, and act. If the latter doesn't happen, then the desire to get a rank would just be an empty wish. focus on building your base first which I explained in the previous comment. the rest will follow.

I'm sorry to hear about your situation. Actually there won't be a much of difference in terms of work culture between corporate and government. Co-workers behave the same way wherever it is. I would say, if you're passionate for doing CA, stand up for it. Ask them just 1.5 years. In that time, if you can't clear Inter, say that you will go to college and give govt exams. In case you clear Inter within 1.5 years, your parents might very well get confidence in you and more likely will support you till final as well. If you work really hard and stay focused, you can very well clear CA Inter within 1.5 years right after 12th. I wish you the best.

You can have multiple projects especially if they can bring long-term benefits. I won't recommend side hustles, though. Like if you're planning to build a separate business or try to do a part-time job while preparing CA. But passion projects are definitely doable. You can absolutely focus on building your Hindi/English fluency. And focussing on physical health is definitely a yes. In fact, you should. But make sure they are at a limit. Maybe, 90 mins all put together in a day.

If I were recruiting, I would consider how long a candidate has taken to clear any CA exam. It doesn't matter Inter or final or foundation. If you have a glaring number of attempts in foundation, that might stand out in your resume. You might have cleared Inter and Final in the first attempt, even then some recruiters might ask about what happened in Foundation. They would want to know that part of your story.

Hello Sir, I have been following you since few weeks. I am depressed because of the attempts. In addition to that my relatives are demotivating me. They are saying that CAs will get only 20k salary per month. I could not explain everything to them. Even a person who is educated i.e. completed M.E (one of my relatives) I have more respect on her, she is also saying such statements like CA has no demand, CA is not a good career, CA is not going to give you more than 20k per month, you are very adamant, Leave CA and do something else etc. I feel exhausted when a person I respect talk like this. Fortunately, my mom and dad are understanding and giving me space to do whatever I like. Even though I feel low when people talk to me like this. Please give me some advice on how to overcome this.

hey I'm sorry for your situation. Whatever your relative has said is absolute nonsense. Even Inter qualifieds get more than 30k per month at the least. Qualified CA getting only 20k per month is ridiculous. Don't buy into all that. Even in my case, I have undergone a lot of trouble/misinformation from some of my relatives. I will be making a separate video on that. Please stay tuned. Keep away from what that person says and just focus on your goal on becoming a CA.

Quitting my job is one of the best decisions I have ever taken. But I didn't quit just like that. I had adequate backup plans. And also, the first year after I quit, I didn't make much money. But 4 years later, now I make decent money but the most important thing is the freedom I have. I will make a detailed video on this.

definitely WITH subtitles. when you watch with subtitles, you're more focused on reading it. That way, it's like you're like reading as well. Maybe when you reach almost native-like fluency, then you can turn off the subtitles. I should have covered this point in the video. But thanks for asking.
