Hello.. My RP was valid for 2 years, then after that, I applied for the PERMANENT RESIDENCY (granted) then after my 3rd year, I applied for citizenship since I am with Sambo visa

I am not sure about the extension but i guess you can find the info in migrationsverket website,,, in regards with the permanent residency, i think it was granted immediately if I remembered it right, 1 week lng ata after ako nagpa fingerprints and photograph..

Hello Martha… I live in Gothenburg 🤗 … About your question, I did not cancelled my UAE residency before applying for Sambo visa… after i got the decision from Migrationsverket, i then resigned from my job and the company cancelled my working visa. So once i left Dubai, my passport got exit stamp at the airport

Hi Ma'am.. Magtatanong lang po. As somebody working abroad, when you applied for the residence permit, it is advisable to attach your work permit from the country where you are currently working? Kasi naisip ko po na iattach yung work permit ko to show them na nagtatrabaho ako pero abroad... Inattach nyo po ba yung inyo or hindi na po? Maraming salamat po.

Hello Vanessa. Your current work permit is actually 1 of the requirements. There is a form that you have to fill out which includes your basic info including your working status. I think it helps the migrationsverket to make the decision faster.

it is case to case basis. But yes, i heard that too, it is possible to have it that long wait unfortunately. So I suggest before applying, make sure all your documents and requirements are all complete so it will make it easier and faster for Migrationsverket to get the decision

Hello. No visa needed. RP, is your source of entry to Sweden which is also valid to other EU countries. Also, It is your permit to live, and work here for 2yrs..
