How did I Work without Blade Runners? [Satisfactory 29]

Wow, I'm amazed you made it this far without the comforts of blade runner, mk pole V2 and overclocking! A few small tips regarding those: 1. Overclocking also means underclocking, keep that in mind! It makes production that is exactly 100% efficient possible for every type :) 2. Try to overclock on your miners only to maximize a spot/factory. Other production building can always be build more of :) 3. While sprinting with the blade runner, try to push crouch. This will do a slide and gain speed a lot, do a jump while sliding and off you go :) Anyway, nice job on your factories and good job for the editor!

I have to say, finally unlocking them has made a world of difference this last bit. Mk 2 poles especially! Thanks for the tips, I'll definitely remember those. Gotta figure out how to crouch!

In hard drive disk you can unlock an alternative recipe for steel, solid steel, its really worth it, gives you more steel for same price

You really ought to continue working down the caterium tree as a matter of priority. The smart splitter is one of the most important machines with respect to farming coupons because it allows you to set up overflows, with excess materials going elsewhere (such as a sink). I hadn't realised you did not have the blade runners yet. To me they're one of the handiest tools for getting around the factory (and the map in general) until you reach tier 6 or 7. Alternate recipes are an important way of creating stuff more simply, faster or both. Hunting for crashed pods and hard drives is something you should do. Have fun playing the game and be efficient!

Thanks for the advise. I've died several times while exploring so that kinda put me off of it for a while. But with the blade runners and the Jetpack that shouldn't happen as often. I'll go hunting soon!

Oh man... I think for the first playthrough (as much as I'd like to have the extra slots!) I'm gonna stick to no mods. Well, I do have a couple that I use to make it easier for my editor. I use SkyUI to keep it permaday and a camera mod that takes screenshots from a stationary place.
