Actually there's other theory, that islam came since the time of Khalifah Utsman ibn Affan.ra, from the shahabi merchants that visit our sumatran region called baros (known for it's source of naphthalene) to trade with our locals at the time being. And from that time, Islam spread widely through out the Nusantara (Indonesian region). The locals were so impressed by the mercahnts ahlaq that they're willingly attracted to learn Islam.

Thanks for the explanation. However, there are some missleading informations here and there : 1. it's quite confusing when you said that "tiny archipelago". Indonesia is quite huge if you know the fact. You can imagine, Its territory is streched as same as the distance between turkiye and england. While its major islands like Sumatera, Jawa, Kalimantan, Sulawesi and Papua are among the 10 biggest island in the world. "Tiny" is not appropriate to describe this huge country bro. 2. It's true that indonesians knew islam from the muslim trader from south asia and middle east and some community knew it from zheng he. But the fact, the widely spread of islam in indonesia can't be detached from the role of "wali songo" or nine muslim guardian, the body of muslim missionary which centralized its activity in Java island. This body was realy close to the royal family who ruled Java island at that time, especially a guardian named Sunan Ampel who realy closed to the royal family of Majapahit Kingdom, one of the biggest kingdom in indonesian archipelago at that time. Until the heirs of this kingdom, named Raden Patah, made a new islamic kingdom in Central Java named Demak Sultanate. Demak finally conquered Majapahit and expand its territory to the nearest islands like Kalimantan (borneo). This conquer brought the faith also to the community. 3. The trading commodity. You said we need commidity like fruit and rice. Wait what? Get the fact that the land of indonesia is so fertile. We've growing rice and fruit and others agriculture commodities since before the came of arab traders 😅. The fact is the came of the western colonial to indonesia was just because our agriculture commodities especially the spices. We traded it with commodities from abroad like cotton, iron, silk, ceramic and some items that we couldn't produce in the archipelago. 4. Indonesia archipelago is strategic. The ship route from east to west will always pass the malacca strait. That's the reason why we got a lot of influence in our culture and religion Please get the fact first before you made a video like this

When I was a kid my friends keep telling me that Arab has the most number of Muslims, cause Islam start from that land. But when I grow up and read more articles, I got shocked when I know the truth that Indonesia is the largest muslim country in the whole world, even this country is surpassing the arabs countries combine as one in term of number of muslim population Surprisingly, it doesn't stop on that, but Indonesia also has the most number of mosques, around 800K of registered mosques (i think it can be more cause there are also millions of small mosques called "Mushala" in gas stations, shopping center and small town, and you can even find mosque easily whenever you travelling to some remote places. Not only that, Indonesia also has the most number of hajj pilgrims, around 220K pilgrims that visiting Mecca in every years I know maybe y'all think this is only a number but maybe you also don't know that this huuugeee number are become the motivation for us to do more worship to Allah, to increasing our faith on this religion, and to become a better person by do more kindness act that Islam teaching us. So if u guys still think the quantity doesn't affect, it's totally wrong. Philippines was the same way before spain conquered my country and its more catholic/christian than muslim. The only big muslim community and its people is in Mindanao as they were the only ones who didnt get conquered as easily as the north and central pre philippine islands. My family is mostly catholic and christian, however I took my shahada 7 years ago and now I am muslim and still practising my arabic. Unfortunately my country suffered from spain and forced them to accept christianity or they would not live. To see indonesia accept islam with open arms is amazing and I only wish for the same for my country to follow and relearn the same path

So no Indonesian citizen can be Jewish or non-believing of a religion (of course there ARE Jews and atheists, but these religions are not state recognized). Our religion is stated in our Indonesian Identity Card, however, there are many people converting to other religions without changing it on paper. Be it a Christian converting to Buddhism, a Muslim to a Christian, or a Hindu to Islam. 3. Maybe the speaker described Indonesia as a "tiny little archipelago" to highlight the Western/Northern hemisphere perception of Southeast Asia but Indonesia is actually the largest archipelago in the world- with over 17,000 islands. At the time Majapahit port can't compete with Malacca port, so their king made a deal with Muslim & Chinese trader to dock at their port like Demak or Sunda Kelapa instead of Malacca. When Portuguese captured Malacca in 1511, most of foreign trader such as Muslim & Chinese refused to dock in Malacca. This event make Demak grow stronger years by years cause their host, inland kingdom Majapahit to decline. Demak is so wealthy and powerful that cause most of native Indonesian to accept Demak as new successor of Majapahit.

@Mission Impossible with regards to Arabic - the language in which God revealed his message to Prophet Muhammad PBUH is Arabic - Arabic because he was a prophet from the Arabian Peninsula, and also because it is the language that will be spoken in Jannah (paradise). The wisdoms for the language being Arabic are numerous - it is a language with great depth in simple words (one word having multiple meanings with slight changes in pronunciation), this is great for analogies and parables, and it also has a beautiful melody, which makes it easy to remember - the message of God is to be remembered and implemented/lived by in our lives. The basic meaning of Allah is the One and Only God - the word doesn't actually have an English equivalent, it is a unique name for God alone. Islam preserves pure monotheism, as the Quran is the unchanged word of God, all other religions/and the associated scriptures were corrupted by humans (the message was changed).

@Mission Impossible Angel Gabriel wasn't invented by the Christians. Gabriel has been alive since so long ago to deliver revelations from Allah to his messengers. And the last to ever receive the revelation is Muhammad PBUH. Does Allah not tell us that earth is round? He does. And it is contained in the quran. Not round but spherical. You have to understand Arabic to understand this matter. The Snake (in Islam we called it Iblees or Demon) whispered to the minds of Adam. Just like when you feel like you have the urge to do something bad when you know it well that it is bad, it's the whisper of Devil. Then should we blame the Devil for our own action? Hell nah, it was your fault that you fell for their traps. Evolution might have been happened for living creatures with the exception of human being. Allah has stated that humans are the most perfect creation. Why didn't Allah spread the messages himself? Well well, if you are someone who hold the highest positions in a company, would you come to every employee till the lowest ranks to tell them your commandments? And didn't Allah create you to have a logical mind to think? Why don't you see the signs everywhere around you and realize that there is a Higher Power who create all of this complicated design? And when you do believe in God.. ask yourself if God has created a manual for us to function as a proper human? Why do we live? What is our goal? Where are we heading? And what is the one truth? May Allah guide you.

@Mission Impossible I want to ask you one question what is your objective view of knowing what God has revealed to humanity. Is it I do not believe on an independent ,unique, Absolute, everliving, one and only, he begets not, nor was he begotten, there is nothing comparable to him and that everything else is dependent on him. Is it I just do not want to know what my creator revealed or Is it who is the last claimed and believed Prophet for more than 1.8 billion Muslims? Was he a liar before God chosen him to be a prophet in his 40th age? Was he simply crazy? Or was he a professional top level Scholar? Or did he had any interests in this world we are living in now?
