People tend to forget that having the best team doesn't guarantee you winning in these CL fixtures, you need heart and to be proud of the badge you wear on your chest. Real Madrid were clearly the worse squad over the 2 legs but their desire to win is unmatched even when they're up against a £1B project that has been 5 years in the making like City. Especially coming back 3 times in a row with PSG, Chelsea and now City, it can't be luck its resolve and believing you can win no matter what. Some players need to take notice of that level of dedication for these type of games. Congratulations to Real Madrid, football has become a business now more than ever, but they showed over this UCL season that this trophy can't be bought.

RM has been a top club for decades or almost a century now. So much prize money won. So much trophies won, so much big deals bcoz of that status is what has made Madrid a big club. It is owned by the fans no one pockets the profits it goes back into the club. Also no one puts money from their own pockets to cheat and boost the club finances, like City, PSG, etc (if you understand my point here). The club, the president, the board, everyone is accountable to the fans, the league, uefa, fifa, etc. Every dollar, euro or pound is accountable. And when someone tries to cheat like what happened with Barca, the president and even the board is punishable. No one is above the sport, no one is above the club. FFP is strictly followed by Spanish league. PL doesn't follow it at all. Man City have bloated deals to make them bigger than what it could be or should be to pump money into the club, so has PSG. No accountability, no regards towards the other clubs. The only lure these clubs had a decade ago was exorbitant amount of money. That's what's City is trying to change but by buying players worth $1bil. So where did the billions come from was that their profit how did they get such profit? Have you asked such questions. Please know and understand the situation between oligarch clubs like City, PSG etc. Look at Liverpool only spending smartly. If Liverpool had boosted its squad as it currently is but in a short span of time like City, without success, without regards to FFP and respect to the game itself. City wouldn't have won all those PL titles. Liverpool squad was very weak until recently. This is probably the first year that they have a good squad, while City had a big squad for years now. So don't even compare City, PSG to Real, Barca, Milan, Inter, Juve, Bayern, Liverpool, etc. who have won and become big teams properly.

I think Guadiola has a weakness of making wrong substitutions at critical moments. It's also not in his DNA to defend a lead even against dangerous teams like Real Madrid that would keep on playing and believing because they have "winning mentality aura" around them. Guadiola knew that Madrid would go all out to score and so two attacking players were brought in by Anchelloti. He didn't react to those substitutions properly and paid dearly for it. City are yet to win the Champions League even though they are a very good team. Sometimes, few elements need to be in your favour to win because the Champions League is a tough Cup to win. The problem with city is they don’t know if they should or shouldn’t play a high line, particularly during crosses or free kicks. The last goal they conceded at the Etihad and even the one last night could have been avoided if the defenders weren’t literally running back to play the Madrid attackers on-site. Had City lost in this manner to a bang average side then fair enough, pick it apart but you are dealing with supreme quality here. Pep's arrogance cost City the game. He took Mahrez, and KDB off for Gundogan and Fernandinho in an attempt to 'sure up' the midfield and see the game out thinking he had it in the bad. Big mistake! Then Real turned up the heat and drew level. Once this happened, City are without KDB, and Mahrez, two of their most creative players. The game was done then Imo as City could barely carve out a chance. He paid for his arrogance last night, and he paid for his arrogance in the FA Cup semi final against Liverpool by fielding a weak side. Before he knew it they were 3-0 down and the game was done. Pep has to take the blame.

Ancelotti know how to defend as he is from Italy but to attack he is improving as in Milan , Bayern , Chelsea , and off course Madrid. As Pep never learn to defend. In the end defend for last minutes of the game are very crucial especially in knock out stages. Hope next season Pep can better defend.

At the 89th minute. With 2 goals lead then bottle it again . I never seen a team bottle 4 time's in 2 leg with 2 lead goal. 2 goal scored and benzema scored with dodgy defend . Again scored 1 goal and 2 goal lead and scored by vini with Laporte not closing down. Then silva scored and give a penalty. To close two goal lead to 1 goal. Go to thier home and whole first half so even. And defend well then scored 1 goal and turned off immediately and again 89th minutes and 2 goal lead with Jack grealish and foden didn't closing down in defense to stop crossing from camvainga and carvajal. Both are not closed down by the both forwards

I honestly don’t understand the statements that these people in the British media are making that ‘city played better because Madrid did not have a shot on target until the 90th minute’, this is very misleading. Just because you had possession doesn’t mean you player better. Seriously? Madrid played better in the first half, man city didn’t do anything either until the 72nd minute when Mahrez scored the goal and put a lot of pressure on Madrid until, well, you all know until when.

As a city fan not going lie I would blame the players more than pep for every years. Because pep took the massive risk on playing Walker until 80 mins after that when everything went downhill. Also Mahrez and KDB was right call but foden wasn’t good and Jesus as well and Silva was clueless as well. Sterling and geralish made a good impact but that was sad those chance should have went in and end the game by there 😢. But congratulations to Madrid

City were 1 up on 86 minutes Grealish had two chances foiled by two great saves and a minute later Madrid scored and never looked back, game won. For Madrids first goal. Grealish and Cancelo both had a chance to closed the ball down they were lazy and complacent, allowing Madrid to knock the ball around and for Rodrygo to slot the ball home. Second goal Grealish once again had a chance to close the ball down stop the cross but failed making nothing more than a half hearted attempt and he was punished. For Madrid's 3rd, Dias was seconds and inches late, it was in the penalty area it was a massive mistake, a gamble, when he should have just stood his ground there was no immediate danger. So in the end City gifted Madrid 3 goals and gifted Madrid the game.
