Honestly its such a HONKAI story plot ahaha. Where bad things sorta just HAPPENED out of no where. Obviously honkai impact's story has branched deeply far out, but it can really be pushed up with how the honkai outbreak was!

My understanding based on the agents from there and what wise says I assume it’s more of a Wild West/lawless zone where it’s just survival of the fittest with gangs and mercenaries scattered around like a post apocalypse

He went to the area where law is not enforced tightly ( most likely the area where Lucy and Piper's gang belongs to) so next patch we will see their faction and might encounter pearl again

It's not ironic. It's intentional. The older tech stuff doesn't easily get corrupted by ether compared to the newest ones. That's why we have a superAI in a vhs rental store and it still syncs

@@31vothanhtuan38 EXACTLY what I was thinking! Some people are complaining, but I think it sorta suits the nature of zzz. Plus as time goes on, OBVIOUSLY we are going to learn more about the apocalypse and how things begun! But all of this just SCREAMS Honkai Impact ahahaha

The devs are still backpedalling if this had connection to Honkai or Not. A year ago during the reveal of this game, the devs said that they wanted to make a game that had nothing to do with Honkai (which they also said when Genshin was new but it turns out a multiverse later on). It is also great if this was separated IP so that they could had a Collab with other popular Games like Street Fighter instead of their own games. If they will reuse the same models from Honkai like what they did with HSR & Genshin. Then this is also their another Multiverse. (personally I'm not a fan of multiverse stories).

@@aoihitori Gonna be real. It seems like Hoyo had intentions at one point to branch their games out and away from Honkai. But it seems like even genshin is still tied in those themes. And once again now with ZZZ, i could still see some resemblence. I feel like the multiverse idea is most likely going to be the real winner here. However i will admit that characters/traits are alittle different than what we would have seen in other hoyo games. So it could always be possible

@@sekaisamurai The last time I'm fascinated with Multiverses was Avengers (multiple events happening at the same timeline) and Fate Series (set courses of History). Then I consume a lot of Multiverse manga/manhwa and games after that. It was like watching Isekai for a couple of times then after a few years of Isekai every Season it became a meta that became a sub-genre.

Are we sure that New Eridu is the last city on the planet? My account rank is 32 and so far I've heard nothing about whether or not there's other cities in the world. I know a certain bad guy in the story tried to flee from the city of New Eridu, so there might be something else out there on the planet. I'm not mentioning names or when events took place in case there's still new players trying to catch up

In no way, it is like solo leveling. In solo, the world is thriving, most gates have sometime till they break and then monsters come out. Gate breaks are more safe as monsters come to you and you have advanatage but you get far less rewards. The corrupt can also kill each other inside and no one would know unlike here. The monster don't have the ablilty to wipe humanity itself and 90% of countries are still standing and thriving. In zzz, humanity is struggling and are barely alive. There is only one city left. They are prospering but have lost more than they got in the proccess.

@@mcventi4859 Well, i am just wanted to say Monster from other worlds invading is a pretty common trope specially in korean and chinese media. Most media actually do depict it like solo where the resources from the gate brought humanity to new heights. Zzz story which has the humanity on its last leg is pretty rare. And i am pretty sure some insane hollows capable of wiping humanity will be coming to us in future updates. That will be fun.

@@flintlockbeithir4823 I'm FTP (Just started) and paying for anything is entirely optional. The only advantage it gives anyway is getting more chances to get a character. Calling it 'pay to win' is like calling an viably balanced game with gacha aspects 'pay to win'.

Well its a gacha, but its not pay to win. Honestly the combat is incredibly satisfying, and really simple too. So there isnt really this big need to be the best of the best anyway. Sorta how genshin is. Sure you can HAVE C6 characters and be insane, but really what is the point other than to just say how high you get in the abyss?
