Dude this was amazing. You just started a hatchery. So cool. I do think you should put some habitat at the bottom of the big pond after seeing how good the hatchery looked. Maybe a few big boulders, few patches of grass, and anything else that might stay alive under water. Even if it's just a corner. Would actually be a nice way to know where to look for fish right away. But seriously, so dang impressive man. Keep on kickin ass!

Not to forget you made amaising videos of you journey building your pond + house etc. I love the approach you take and hope only the best for your fishfarm. @@kasilott4774 food probably throws itself into the pond. Idk if it will sustain all the fish he's hatching, but there's plenty of room in there with all the bugs, tadpoles, etc that will find their way to the pond. A fish pond doesnt necessarily needs fauna/flora in the pond bed to sustain a decent amount of fish, specially on a pond surrounded by forest like this. Of course, if he wants to produce fish in the speed and scale viable to sell it, he will need to supplement their diet, but that doesnt seem to be the case here.

You are a very talented and capable man! I following your KZbin channel for a few years now, and it one of my favourites. May I suggest to you about the breeding of the fish, you can make an environment as the breeding conditions required as a part of the big pond. This way the fish don't get hurt and stressed, the stress of the catching them and moving them etc reduce the number and the quality of the eggs and damage to the health of the fish. Also, natural environment, including the plants, clean the water and produce oxygen. I really hope your going to consider it.

The pond is large. A few logs or uprooted trees should be floating to attract insects and gather moss. Feel so good to see abundance of water. Would we see a tiny bamboo ⛵ boat in future?

@Primitive Skills. Question: Why not build a breeding section in the main pond ?! A shallow section with all the same spawning conditions of your breeding pool ? Would it not be better to let the fish breed naturally ? It would mean far less direct contact/work for you. It would also mean the fish could breed and lay eggs when they were ready, instead of when you think.... they are ready.

Also, the stress of the catching them and moving them etc reduce the number of the eggs and damage to the health of the fish. Also, natural environment, including the plants, clean the water and produce oxygen.

12:19 because the bottom of your pond is made out of dirt, the water in the pond is murky and brown. If you were to cover the bottom of your pond in concrete, then the water would be pure and clear! You would be able to see all of the fish in your pond and it would look very beautiful! It would be just like a clean swimming pool, except it will have fish!

Saya memiliki saran. Bagaimana jika kolam anda ini dibuatkan lagi 1 atau 2 saluran untuk air keluar, dengan titik lokasi yang berbeda-beda. Mengurangi waktu tunggu.
