The apostles would never accept terrible deaths like those, if they weren’t absolutely sure about the truth which resided in Christ. No matter how crazy you can be, in front of an atrocious imminent death from beheading or crucifixion, you’ll be forced to call what you preach a lie, even if it was true, let alone if it was a lie from the beginning. The fact that they decided to face that kind of death, means they 100% knew that Jesus is the son of God, waiting for them in paradise.

Don't focus on the tragedy of how they died because that only lasts a few moments, focus on how they loved God the father and Jesus our savior so much they were willing to give their lives to spread the very important message ❤ if you ever doubt God's existence or Jesus for that matter just remember it's the only religion that people get so angry about and will literally kill you if you preach it to anyone 🙏 ❤️ that tells you it's hated for a reason! IF John the Baptist and the 12 disciples had followed Jesus, then Jesus would not have been crucified, John the Baptist would not have died a shameful death at the whim of a teenager, and the 12 disciples would not have died horrible deaths. Jesus's hope from the beginning was that all follow him.
