I often wonder the reason the birth of Slaanesh was never prevented was because the only one other than the Eldar Gods who could see the writing on the wall, The Emperor, tried warning them of the true severity Slaanesh being born. But in true Eldar fashion, they were too arrogant to listen. Possibly because unlike the Eldar Gods, The Emperor was active in the material realm his entire existence and was never able to forget or not notice the effects the Immaterium has on the Materium.

Could the realms of Chaos have been Great Crusade'd back in the day? Like, if the emperor foresaw that making everyone ignore Chaos until he set up the human webway was too risky, could he have sent the legions into warp to fight Chaos head-on? Purge the Chaos worlds and beat back the Chaos gods until they're so weak that humanity has time to solidify post-crusade and set up the webway in less of a time crunch? Maybe if the legions involved were the more psychically-capable ones and were kitted out in hectic anti-warp gear and they muster as many blanks and custodes and maybe even some Eldar allies? How would that war have gone, and would there have been a chance of humanity winning?

Hmmmm. So now I'm wondering... How exactly is it that tyranids are immune to chaos, but still exist in the warp enough to cast a shadow (blanket other psykers etc)? So is the warp universal, or just localized spots like our galaxy? If it's universal, why isn't the nid overmind a force in it? Or is it?

Pet theory... Definitely not canon... Tyranids are dual natured creatures because of their connection to the Hive Mind, and the Hive Mind is a warp God created by the Tyranids hunger. And unlike the puny chaos Gods, the Hive Mind is intergalactic in nature, and it's only contemporaries are Gork n' Mork

ATTEMPT 75: A video about, what if there were no loyalist elements in the traitor legions, this would also count for omegon and magnus. So there would be no need for the culling at isthvaan and weakening of the traitor forces. Giving the traitors a boost in numbers and cohesion, plus a lot of important named characters. it would be very intresting to see what all the effects would be on the possible succes of the heresy.

Question: It always seemed to me that the Emperor kind of planned or low-key wanted some of the Primaches to fall to Chaos? He acted as a a ss to the less desirable or somewhat broken ones while being quite nice to the better few? But it got out of hand, and instead of just 4 being corrupted, half of them fell. My first army was orks and after a couple of games I found I kept on dying due to their rubbish save throws and lack of good guns so I moved on to death guard. But not a day goes by where I wish I had not as I just love reading about orks and their general sense of humour.
