Majorkill. He was only called Carrion as a cruel joke. Because when the dude was heavily mutilated he crawled miles through irradiated battlefield to reach the allied forces of the nightlords who actually found and saved him. They were mocking his state as a carrion corpse. The ravenguard however, also found it amusing but in another way. The lieutenant heard it as "carry-on" because of the accent of the nostraman fuckers, I presume. He kept calling him that as an inspiration and complementing his resiliance. That's why the name stuck.

What if the Emperor wasn’t able to reach Nuceria in time to prevent Angron dying from the High Riders? How would having one less available Primarch affect the heresy with more lopsided sides? What would happen to the War Hounds? What would happen to Nuceria? Who do you think would go to Khorne? Or what if Guilliman found Angron before the Imperium found Guilliman?

If Angron had died first, the War Hounds would've been available to the Imperium under a competent Legion Master until Big E could make a replacement Primarch, which would've made the heresy much easier for the loyalists as they'd have the entire Warhounds Legion at their disposal instead of against them.

Khorne wanted to corrupt the blood angels and sanguinius, I don't know what would happen to the war hounds probably absorb into another legion or two like what happened to one or both of the lost legions or left along to do their own thing. Nuceria would have technically better off if they managed to kill Angron because even if Angron was loyal to the emperor he would have eventually burned down his homeworld for revenge. I don't think guilliman finding Angron would actually make a difference since the butchers nails already broke him

In a battlefield the Raven Guard, they can do stealth but also pitch battles and sabotage, but in any other setting that needs pure stealth or lethality officio wins since they have far better feats in this department.

See considering how cool this all was. Now I'm really more than curious about what the men of iron and the men of stone and the men of gold used to look like during the age of technology for humanity when they are pretty much at their zenith before everything fell into the darkness like a new dark age. Not just the dark age of technology as the Mechanicus revamped it. But this particular AI sounds pretty awesome and like the kind of thing I wish there were more pieces of art for. Because there's a lot of art from fans as well as people hired that's artists for 40K to make. But certain things seem just extra obscure, despite their being things like books with the lore that is likely pretty descriptive of anything and everything. If they can go into detail about how somebody like Belasarius Cawl is a mountain of a man with a massive amount of mechanical authemetics all over his body. Then there's no reason why they can't do the same for others in art. So back to the age of technology thing, I would really like to see without my look like when it comes to the three races of men from that earlier human empire. Especially since we already know that the men of iron were just advanced robots.

Wait, they wouldn't have managed to kill the AI and most likely would have wanted to capture it for study, knowing the Mechanicum, since if they could make something the opposite of it they would have something that was a massive weapon for Chaos, but also it being able to purify code is really too much of a puzzle for them to want to kill it. There is no way it's gone. They captured it and took it with them or the Imperium has it locked up somewhere. It's super dangerous and sounds like a AI weapon the Necrons created, really, with how it works, but it could just as easily be from the Dark Age of Technology. It is interesting that it supported the Carrion's plan until it was down to a single bot to run off, though.

I still think the Raven Lord is a great looking model! Oddly, though, I think one of my favorite little things about it is, I'm my opinion, it strongly resembles what I often think art depicts the Emperor looking like. Which one of the Emperor's sons looks the most like their father? I've heard some say Lorgar, but I tend to think Corax at least bears a strong resemblance, and I like that, at least to me, I see it here, too.😊 Seeing these just makes me wish someone would do something similar for White Scars; a decent, detailed model ACTUALLY ON A BIKE, or a jet bike, or whatever the Outrider bikes are. I know they won't, because painting white already makes the White Scars a pain to do, while GW oddly deleted basically ALL the Astartes bike characters, except for the Chaplain?, but a fan can dream! The Carrion definitely sounds cool! One thing I tend to like is when they make a character who doesn't just stamp every box for "this is what it means to be a ____", but then also doesn't go totally dumb m, in the opposite direction, or just invent a Successor Chapter. Techmarines are one of those specialists I really enjoy, among the Astartes, especially when they also bring something extra, like his hypothetical damage output, in addition to repairing, and supporting, tanks. I hadn't heard of him, before, so it was a fun lore lesson!

Bro, Dark Angels was my favorite chapter when I was a kid and when I started my first SM army they were the choice. Then you show up on youtube and start wanking them off. After years in the hobby I wanted to start a second SM army and of course I went for my second favorite, the Raven Guard. I have a fully ravenguard painted army mainly consisting of Phobos and jump pack marines, and now you're starting to wank them off even harder! I mean it's nice having content for my two favorite legions but it's also.. DON'T MAKE EVERYBODY ELSE LOVE THEM TOO MUCH THEY'RE MY SPECIAL BOYS I LOVED THEM BEFORE IT WAS COOL!

Here are some ideas for consideration: What if every Astartes Legion staged a coup on the Emperor and took over the Imperium? How would they rule it and how successful would it be, compared to the canon Imperium? (this is all legions on the same side with minimal Chaos influence on events) What if 2 Primarchs held the Warmaster position cooperatively, under the assumption that those who would take issue at one Warmaster would respect the other one more and they could thus overall be more productive? Which nonhuman species would be the best fit for Chaos to take over and attain galactic dominance? If any one Loyalist and Traitor Primarch switched sides for the Horus Heresy, who would you choose for the best outcome for either the Loyalists, or the Traitors? What if the Silent King never got rid of his Command Protocols and took (almost) all the Necrons with him out of the galaxy to perhaps find a new and better one and come across the Tyranids? What if the Great Crusade had all the Primarchs and none turned Traitor, but there were no Astartes? What if the Beast Orks succeeded in defeating the Imperium? What if the Raptor Project succeeded/was never sabotaged? How would each Heresy/Crusade-era Primarch and Legion fare against the modern Tau Empire? What if one of the Primarchs landed on a xenos world and was raised by them? What if the Eldar managed to kill Angron before he was enslaved? What if another power rose to power during M31 instead of the Imperium, such as the Ullanor Orks, the Rangdan, or the Necrons via the Silent King returning early? What if the Beast Orks grew to threaten the Imperium before the Heresy could happen? What if the Tyranids arrived in M31, before the Heresy could happen? What if all of the Perpetuals stayed loyal to the Emperor and led the Great Crusade?
