Bronny getting drafted was a blessing in disguise because it's taken the pressure off of Knecdt. Usually the 1st round pick gets all of the Lakers' media attention and scrutiny but that's obviously shifted towards Bronny which frees up Knecdt to just hoop.

The 2nd rounder taking pressure off the 1st rounder 🤔
@Bran-Da-DonКүн бұрын
@jaymula6660 You and I both know Bronny isn't some regular 2nd rounder. He's the son from one of the most famous basketball players in history and as a result he's drawn a huge amount of press & attention for the last 4 months.
@jaymula6660Күн бұрын
@@Bran-Da-Don you an I can both see he isn’t even a 2nd round talent how many legends have kids that don’t pan out it’s not now he is a project at best I don’t get y ppl get all bent with the coverage just to be mad.
@Bran-Da-DonКүн бұрын
@jaymula6660 I'm not disagreeing with you about the legitimacy of his draft selection. That's a whole other discussion. I was responding to you questioning why a 2nd rounder would take media pressure off of a 1st round pick. It's self explanatory because of who he is. Him being a terrible basketball player is only increasing that attention.
@JC.72Күн бұрын
He can look at it on the good side. For his whole career he will be in the spotlight. Might as well get through it and get used to all the haters. Sure it would be a difficult start but it's gonna be with him regardless.

Not just a shooter. He can pass, put it on the floor, take it to the hole and finish strong. So he can make a difference even when he's having an off shooting game. Bright future indeed. 🤡

If Bronny wasnt drafted this same year, I feel like he would be getting more credit. Either way, best of luck to both Dalton & Bronny.

Care to explain why? As far as I am reading, Bronny gets more criticism than he does praise.
@NewGoldieКүн бұрын
Huh? Lmao yall just be sayin shit. Dalton has gotten all the praise that Bronny hasn't lol. Bronny has been bashed and doubted every which way, all you ever see about Dalton is how much of a steal he was.

I think it actually takes some pressure off of him with how much attention Bronny gets
@tspen4128Күн бұрын
Bronny would be getting praised if he was performing... Bronny was already coming in on the wrong foot, with people thinking he doesnt deserve to be there and is there cause of his father. It was on him to show up and show out. We can't hold Bronny's failure(thus far) to do so against Dalton. Dalton is balling and its showing in the stats and team chemistry

@DoGuovКүн бұрын
Sure Dalton Knecht is a rookie. But he's not a 18-19 years old rookie. He's a bit older, so he's played a fair amount of games in college to the point where he's developed way more than the younger guys. So yeah teams passing up on him in the draft was a mistake because as you can see you can plug him in and he's already set to help the team out.

Most NBA GMs draft a young guy 19-20yrs young with upside potential. Knecht at 23yrs (old?) is like getting a 3rd year veteran as a rookie. To me it shows that if you draft a guy as a senior, you tend to get a player that’s more mature and has a more pro ready game. He is exactly what we needed in our lineup. I guy who’s smart, knows what his role is and takes quality shots. If we can get consistent production from D Lo and Hachimura, keep AD and Lebron healthy, and maybe get some of our guys back to bolster the bench, we have a shot in the playoffs.

Imagine Lakers drafted Tatum not Ball a few years ago. Plus drafted Knecht. 😊😊 how does Lakers look like now 😂😂
@JC.72Күн бұрын
Yes Tatum is better but I don't think ball is worthless in any way It's just unfortunately that injury is the bigger problem for him. If he has no injury problem I like to think he still got potential to be up there. Not sure why I still have a thing for ball. Maybe Just like seeing an old school pg being as a rare precious breed now.

Lal gave up on ball too soon. Ball couldn't shoot threes consistently at first but his 3s was fine after he got traded.

@ gave up too soon? Check how many games has Ball played in the past 3 seasons? Feeling sorry for him but he’s not Him.
@JC.72Күн бұрын
@@qiyang4086 yes the injury problem is obvious but what i mean is lal seemingly was not satsify with his 3s ( i dont think it was injury issue that lal got him traded), but he did prove that he can shoot it more consistently, thats all i am saying but it is unforunate that the injury is likely to finish his career early than we hoped.
