I truly understand how you felt Jelena. My youngest son, and I visited Philippines a year ago,it was my youngest son first time in the Philippines. My boys use to ask my child hood what it was like. I told them I grow up poor had a simple life but happy. He was so impressed about the people . He said people don’t have much… but happy. My son sang karaoke for the first time. We both sang , at that moment… I felt so happy seeing my son having fun. I also cried because It has been so long when I felt that happiness and just being stress free. My son hugged me and also cried. He told me it was the best vacation he ever had and wanted to go back. I’m also in the process of building a house there for my future retirement. Thanks for your part 2 vlog, I have been checking all day and was going to comment about how often do you vlog. You have a very adventurous attitude and how are the kids adjusting to the cultural shock between Europe and living in a provincial culture? Please, talk to them I'm sure they are feeling alienated from their surroundings. I hope there are Russian kids that are in your Russian compound so, they are not by themselves. When I was in elementary school, it was a private school I befriended from Germany. His English was good and we were able to communicate. Whenever lunch time me and my friends hang out with him. There was also in my first grade from Spain that I met however his English was not very good but we were able to communicate either by hand signal or basic English. What I'm trying to say is be there for them and listen where they are emotionally. I know they will adjust. Again I enjoyed your journey to the Philippines, I'm hoping when I retire I might stay in the Philippines for 6 months and go back to California for 6 months. Probably get dual citizenship. I find California is my home now but hopefully I will reconnect with my motherland. I have to get adjusted from the heat, cockroach, mosquitos and yes spiders. Thanks for your vlog, and yes I'll send you some financial support. It will be a Dollars and not Euro
