True. The Bible says life is a vapor. You're here for a moment then gone the next. Thats why it's important we have to make sure we are truly in Christ and we inherit ETERNAL life. This world is only tempory, Jesus came to die for our sins so we can overcome whatever it is keeping us in bondage to sin. Jesus overcame death and the grave and was risen after being crucified. And that's the promise and good news for us that we and all of our loved ones will be resurrected when Jesus returns.

Exactly! I do genealogy and just by chance I happen to live around the corner from the cemetery my 4th great aunt and one of her daughters (with her husband and daughter) are in. We had my aunt's stone fixed by a cemetarian because what we thought was a flat in ground marker was actually standing up at one point. He said whatever they used to attach the stone to the base back then probably just gave out one day and the stone toppled over and that anyone who would've visited the grave had probably passed on themselves so it just went unnoticed until we came along.

Waterskiing and tubing was such a fun part of my childhood and my kids and many many more kids and even adults not knowing this could of been anyone of us. My dad drove his boats and had a few beers and it was nothing to jump on the back in a tube. I’m so glad I didn’t drink and drive but so many loved ones did. So sad for this young man. But I don’t feel so bad for the 58 year old that got charged. IMO.

It's infuriating to hear how some people literally get away with murder due to money and connections. How did his girlfriend get like that if it was just the two of them? She certainly didn't beat herself to death! It's sad really, but he did not live that long after the incident. Creepy man. Also agree with others about animals being forced to perform in circuses. At least the thinking on this has changed a bit for the better. Thanks again , Lamont!

Lamont I looked up the story of the attack on David King. As an animal lover I'm sorry to say that Mr King got what he deserved. Chief must have been an adult when he was captured. He would fight and disobey the trainers commands. For which he suffered severe torture. They would tie him to trees beat, stab him with spears build fires under his belly as punishment even the other elephants would abuse him. After he kill David King he sent to the Connecticut Zoo. Where his abuse may have continued. He would throw bricks at the zoo staff. They decided to kill him. The drew a circle on him where they thought his heart was and shot him. As if that wasn't enough they had him slaughtered and sold Chief stakes to the local restaurants, and pulled his remains through the streets of Cincinnati. The death of David King is sad. But in my opinion all the time of these people got what the deserved. Back then no one cared about the mistreatment of animals.

Lamont, thank you for covering Elmwood! This is my family cemetery and I appreciate you taking the time to stop in Charlotte. Next time you’re in town stop at Sharon Memorial to see Officers Barnes and Nobels gravesites. Just to the left over by 5th Street at Elmwood there’s 2 old large brick buildings that is the original Harding High school. My Mom and uncles attended this school and one night running around in the Elmwood my uncle accidentally fell into an open grave. Also, the Cutter man was a freak and manipulated the boy into lying about his mothers death. Also, there is a lot of homeless that sleep in the Elmwood at night.

I live in Charlotte, NC. I wish I knew you were in town. We could go out for a few beers. Take care, and keep doing what you're doing brother.

I totally agree with you Lamont...As I read that epitaph I straight away thought about the poor Elephant 🐘 😢. Even today they are being exploited.

Love you content! Can you do the Skylar Neese case next? She was a young teenager who was murdered by her two best friends in 2012 right on the border of West Virginia. She seemed like a beautiful person and she deserves to be remembered!

Thank you for saying how our veterans were/are treated when returning from combat. My dad was in the Navy. Many of our family friends were Vietnam veterans. One friend was a SeaBee and had multiple bouts of cancer as he was part of the group that worked with Agent Orange. My sister is an Army vet that lives with PTSD. Thank you for honoring them. 🙂

Hey Lamont, why didn't you cover Terfinesh Gidey? I was curious to see a fellow African because most of my people opt to be buried in ther motherland especially the older generation. Thank you for doing these 💜

I wondered the same thing. Why film her headstone and give no background story.
