I think the Jameson family was scared for their lives and they decided to go off grid and hide on a Forest homestead. They went looking to meet someone to buy property and got lost. If they were disabled and went walking and got lost, it's possible one or both were walking in the forest and then were unable to make the trip back. They must have simply forgotten the phone. I am disabled and I walk into places an find myself struggling to get back.

As far as Jimmy Hoffa goes one of my friends was a teenager when this happened and she lived in South Lyon. She was friends with some of the kids of the mafia families. Just after Jimmy disappeared installed a very large inground pool. I looked at her and said didn't you think maybe, she said now she does but back then that was adult stuff and she was kinda scared of the family. Also machus red fox is said "mock-us" it was a super spency place and had a stuffed red fox in a case and an old wooden telephone booth. I used to eat there all the time as a child before it closed.
